Samsung LCDs broke after a year or two..i mean 2 of them I owned..I am not sure about this new 19 inch model but I would never buy another samsung again I also Didnt like Sharp Picture quality(charts) so maybe Nxt time I will go with Sony or Mitsubashi
loveshek, which model Samsung broke down on you, and what was wrong with it? I have an old Sam 770 bought 4/00 and it's still running great, though it's handed down to the kids now. I'm using 4 Samsung 191T, and it's fantastic. If you don't want to trust Samsung, then you need to find another OEM. There are only a few producers of LCD, so most brands are just rebrands, you'll need to find out who's LCD they are using.
Yes I forgot the model # or name but both of them I couldnt turn on again (not at the same time tho) Some people here and my friends say the new Samsung LCDs are good...like you said

Faster, That's not bad on the samsungs. I was looking at the extended warranty thing for $54. Turns the 3 yr manufacturers warranty into a 6 year repair/replacement . A general question for all: What's the estimated life on a monitor of this type? Thanks in advance. Later, Cracked
Fry's Electronics Outpost.com site has the Samsung 191T for $899.99. Cheapest price I could find. mktsurf
