I don't believe that the remarks by Index Trader were meant for you . . . They were meant for a guy named Manolo that has several different "top picking" aliases that many ET members have grown rather tired of. Thank you for sharing your day with us here. Told ya to wait. It was too obvious to start buying it today. The bounces got seriously shook out today. We actually finally had a nice volume day with a bit more volatility. Now it's easier to make decisions. The bears are getting their confirmations and looking to add to shorts. Now the fun really begins. Short rips provide great pullbacks and if there is follow through, there will be another nice bull run. Don't feel bad. I've made similiar mistakes trying to play pullbacks with options on certain stocks I trade everyday. If I would have just waited a day or two on some of these trades, I would be analyzing where to take my profits now instead of where to best cut my losses.
Now, now Cuz. Be nice . . . He knows that he messed up! But atleast he didn't come out on Monday and say that the S&P hasn't run out of gas since it just made a new 52 week high this past Friday, and that it was in a range . . . only to then take full credit for calling today's decline in the market, and forgetting to tell us about the key ingredient to his analysis being the high price of oil taking a toll on the stock market, until today. Oh, and don't forget to add in the fundamental analysis that the strong bond market is a reflection of the Economy not being as strong as expected, and in fact quite weak. Yeah, don't forget to throw those two little tidbits of analysis in today, after the fact! The crap in these Trading Forums is so pathetic that I might have to resign myself to butting heads with my good friend Maverick in the Chit Chat Forum from now on . . . Either that, or leaving ET to merely lurk but not post anymore like Riskarb.
Waggie did you check out RCKY TODAY? And how about that selloff in our lovely HOMEBUILDERS? Oh can't forget BRL. You can't leave the forum.............who else am I gonna talk to about the builders?
