paper trading doesn't work for one good reason.

if you buy the stock from market makers, price goes down

if you short the strock goes up

you will move the market when you are daytrading big size with real money.,

don't expect to make $100,000 profit scalping for pennies minute trading an illiquid stock in one day..it's not going to happen for illiquid stocks and stocks manipulated by the market makers.

in paper trading you can short 5 million dollars but in reality you can't short 5 million dollars. if the bid is only $5000

paper trading wins gives you false sense of confidence.

    paper trading losses don't hurt.

    Hi,

Start by trading a very small amount -- like 5 shares or fewer. You will feel less nervous and making money will still feel good.

Five shares,, ha. Get outta here, the commissions alone would eat up any pennies gained.

Cash, perhaps you are entering trades without knowing your risk which makes you nervous and hesitant. If you know where to get out, then you know how much you will lose if the trade goes bad.

You must have that stop number in your mind, no around this level or around that level, just one number within your risk policy!!!

If your trading disply shows real time profit and loss, turn it off if you can. Just look at your charts, wait for your setup, pull the trigger, and place your stop and if possible your target right away. If you're still second guessing yourself, walk away from the screen for a while and check on the outcome of your trade later.

    I am a sophmore.
Listen, to me...enjoy life. Unless, trading is enjoyment. Thank god I figured that out.
