I think he is legit, because of this sentence: "Input from independent traders who may have lost money but consider themselves part time or "amateur" traders" A troll would not be that polite with losers. He is certainly aiming at the vast majority.

google "chat with traders", there're a lot of podcasts that you can listen to gather data + market wizard books. there was also a paper written about day trading in Taiwan with data that show 87-90% failure rate (it might be taken offline).

And I think he might be onto something. There's no shortage of books about "successful" day traders but we've never really had a compendium of losers. And it's likely to be more believable than all the self-promoting trading wizards.
right. It is not easy to be a professional trader. It will be even more difficult for the OP to be a professional writer; his one sentence can be > 50 words long.
