I'm doing a story on day trading and looking for input

  1. I think he is legit, because of this sentence:

    "Input from independent traders who may have lost money but consider themselves part time or "amateur" traders"

    A troll would not be that polite with losers. He is certainly aiming at the vast majority.

    Consider what Dave Ramsey says;
    '' 80% lose''. I would not have guessed 20% make it\ but DAVE Ramsey is right so much about finance , have to consider that........

  4. google "chat with traders", there're a lot of podcasts that you can listen to gather data + market wizard books. there was also a paper written about day trading in Taiwan with data that show 87-90% failure rate (it might be taken offline).

    Think alike.

    He's written around 100 words,
    There's barely 3 punctuation marks.

    Maybe he's just starting out,
    But I'd not expect this kind of behavior, coming from a reporter.

    Not always easy to fake it !

    And I think he might be onto something. There's no shortage of books about "successful" day traders but we've never really had a compendium of losers. And it's likely to be more believable than all the self-promoting trading wizards.

    right.

    It is not easy to be a professional trader.

    It will be even more difficult for the OP to be a professional writer;
    his one sentence can be > 50 words long.
