lol everyones got this figured out. almost nobody on earth expects a big drop this year. ALL TELLING US WE RUN THE REST OF YEAR AND FALL A LITTLE NEXT YEAR.7 months and 64% vertical and people want more more more.i have a feeling mr mkt humbles a lot of longs before the year is out.the system has been gamed and obused to no end and will lash back.the most unbelievable thing to me the past 7 months is how the mkt came up so high to let most stuck long exit mostly breakeven or even up.. i thought it would make all throw up there stock before we hit a bottom and few capitulated. but i know human greed will keep most from selling and they'll ride it back down
Lol, there are flaws present in this "top" call. Obviously you don't truly understand how the market works or you wouldn't say that as soon as prices goes one tick over the high its bust. That's why people make money off you and you lose. even if price goes above last high It can still be valid kids.
I didnt say that I now think the intraday high will be taken out, or that i interpret today's price action as bullish (black candle) I'm just admiting that I had defined this call as no higher close earlier in the thread jeez, is nearly everyone in this thread a jerk? cant even conceed without the "I know more than you but I cant say why" losers attacking you for conceeding
sw, It's possible. This is, after all, the thread where I was told to stop embarrassing myself by asking you what time frame you're looking at. NoD
I think it was a good call. Unfortunately it didn't work out. But you've admitted it didn't, and you've said you were wrong. I tip my hat.
I don't know... I think it was actually a great call. His first call was a move down to 1019 or lower, which is what it did almost immediately. The mistake was trying to make a longer term call after that... you really shouldn't do that in a market as heavily manipulated as this one. Basically, just make calls for the next "impulse" move up or down on the daily time frame and leave it at that. Predicting anything beyond that is literally a crap shoot in this type of market, and isn't worth doing. Even from a swing trading perspective, all short positions should / would have been exited a long time ago at a nice profit from the original call.
Was it a great call or a lucky call... and is there a difference? i think so. The great call comes with a reasonable set of assumptions as to why the event will occur that must be explicitly stated before the event along with the #, and leading to a timely result. The lucky call has none of this but simply a number tossed out without rhyme or reason. This call fell into the latter, and then was promptly invalidated.
I respect the fact that you've admitted defeat. Most top callers are never heard from again once they're wrong one time. I hope you continue to post your analysis (even if I don't agree with it, it's good to get a different point of view from all angles).
