To get back on point: Cruz was right to stand up. He didn't flinch when the diversion was afoot. To quote Mark Levin: "We will not accept bipartisanship in the pursuit of tyranny." The likes of Ak are willing to accept less liberty for whatever reasons. I expect him to be the first to turn in his weapons, if he really owns them. Perhaps he will brag about it in ET. That would be impressive (not)! Or maybe he's hoping he can keep his weapons so he can take out "conservatives" when and if that day comes.
