I'm Beginning To Like Ted Cruz - Here He Smashes Feinstein

  1. Poor Dianne, doesn't like being talked down to. Another radical leftist whose idea of a conversation is, you sit there and shut up while I lecture you. Then you agree to everything I said and we're all good. She is one more example, on a very long list, of why we need term limits.

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Well, it's an interesting exchange. In the end, [Senator Ted] Cruz overshot. His question was, his argument was you wouldn't tamper with the first amendment on free speech for example, the way you're tampering with the second in restricting it by making some weapons illegal. And the answer that Feinstein ended up with, suggested by Dick Durbin was yes, we do with the first amendment when we outlaw pornography. So that is a large category of speech that is illegal, and that therefore it isn't absolute every right in the first or the second or the fourth amendment is one that you cannot touch. So, I thought Cruz was -- also the manner which he asked it, I think it appeared a little bit offensive. I don't think Cruz helped himself

  6. Feinstein is exhibit A against the argument that you should vote for the candidate, not the party. In general and certainly compared to other dems like her colleague from california Barbara Boxer, Feinstein is relatively sane. She is the perfect little student council to local government to mayor to congress story. One plucky woman, who happens to have a billionaire husband, working to make things better.

Only she doesn't really share all the concerns of average people it turns out. She is protected by armies of private security and even got her own little concealed carry permit, the kind they give immediately to the rich and connected in antigun states like California and NY.

She's not all that concerned about some poor people in south central LA or a farmer out in the valley or rancher in the high desert. She hates guns, at least those owned by other people. After all, isn't that why we have govenrment? To protect us every waking moment?

She was damned pissed when a ...shudder... republican dared lecture her on the Constitution. Like John McCain, if there is any moral outrage to be displayed, she will be the one displaying it. Not some AA mexican who just got elected to the Senate and probably doesn't even have a decent art collection. The very idea.

No, you just attacked and published negatives from others about her detractor. That's how you defend someone, attack or discredit her attacker. So, don't be so defensive about your objective obvious to all.

You did read the OP, right?
