It catches most things, but not everything. I'm deeply embarrassed of how the word "Constitution" appeared in my post. -Posted via Personal Computer
An observation.... Lots of people say, "I'd be a (candidate X) supporter but I don't like that he's ___________. In your case, you suspect Paul of being a Racist. (You supported Obama...he's as racist as can be and was elected by a racist populace.) Others don't like Romney because he's a Mormon. Others don't like Gingrich because he's had a couple of divorces. My point is this.... we should look at a candidate's overall qualifications and policies on a number of issues and not reject him based upon one issue. No candidate is going to be "on the same page" with all of our issues. As far as I'm concerned, none of the above would disqualify a candidate in my eyes. None of those "issues" are important enough to outweigh the prospect of America becoming a Socialist and bankrupt 3rd world country.
In 2008 I ran across a web site that asked a number of questions about your opinions on various political and social issues. Then compared your answers to all the the presidential candidates platforms. The highest matching candidate to my views was only %50, and he had already dropped out of the race.
