Based upon the OP experience level with actual investing or trading along with the fact his goal is to reach 100k in savings for his startup capital...

I would say he's several years or more away from any real trading.

I'm curious if he plans on updating this thread each year until he reaches his goal because others like him have just vanish after a few months without updating anyone about their progress to reach the startup capital goal.

Short term. Very selective day trading in futures. Maybe 8-15 trades a week.

I know it's not hard to understand. Am I surprised? Not really. But this is a trading website where traders shoot the shit. There is absolutely zero reason why someone who talks about his trading EXPERIENCE should have to show trading records to some guy they have no clue is. That is what seems beyond ridiculous to me. I am not selling some trading system or claiming I make 300% a year. If that was the case then sure. Not sure why you don't seem to get this. Any "boasts' (and I use this term lightly) from me over the years have just been my longevity. If you want proof of my longevity go back to when I started posting years ago on here. If anyone wants to doubt me that's fine, like I said, won't lose any sleep over it. But man, if I am making all of this up I sure put a crazy amount of time into my posts the last 10 + years on here.

There is an important distinction between making stuff up and embellishing it, i.e. not showing the drawdowns and neccessary capital for futures day trading. Some of Al Brooks' critics think he embellishes futures day trading by only mentioning wins, for example.

There is an important distinction between someone who sells a system/mentoring and a guy who just posts on a trading site. Al brooks sells something, I don't. I come on a trading site to shoot the shit with other traders. Not looking for anything in return. I have said this a gazillion times, I am just trying to pass on any helpful info to anyone. Guys did this with me when I was starting out. That's it. Funny how I am catching shit on here from new guys to prove myself somehow. It's starting to get old.

In this thread, apparently its 100k that's needed for startup capital...seriously.

This is a psychological habit of newbies. They walk into a bar and see a bunch of beautiful women. They then start demanding to know which ones are virgins instead of just getting laid.

    P.S.
In no way am I suggesting someone wants to have sex with you. The above is just a bad analogy. :D

I posted proof a while back and told marketsurfer to use that to verify any claims I had, but since he ignored me afterwards I suppose he wanted ME to hire an auditing firm to satisfy his curiosity. This is ET.
To me it's pretty obvious from your writing that you've gone through all the stages of trading.

Big Mike and Brooks claim to be profitable day traders and don't show their P&Ls or trading blotters, they could block out the last 4 account numbers easily, as the guy who showed his ETRADE statement did after allegedly losing 100K+ on a trade and got major media attention and was believed to be authentic. Although I do consider an account statement with any of the numbers blocked potentially inauthentic.

In the trading-marketing industry appeals to privacy appear to possibly be the last refuge of a scoundrel, not suggesting that this applies Eprado.

I don't believe the Etrade guy is authentic. Yet, I don't need to reply to him and demand proof.

Yet, lets pretend he is authentic and that he did lose all that money...good example of how someone can gain sympathy and have others bail them out when those margin calls come in. Kind'uv reminds me of what the government did during the 2008 - 2009 financial crisis...lots of bailouts.

Now that we've come full circle again in this thread. Maybe the thread starter (zeon12) of this thread should setup an account on gofundme just like that Etrade guy. Simply, the thread starter can use gofundme to reach his 100k target.

I can see myself donating 25 dollars because this thread seems legit. I'm also willing to help refund him with 50 dollars to help pay his margin call if such occurs but only if all of this is done via gofundme.

That point was only made as it relates to Brooks' and Bigmike's lack of transparency.
