Can you forward me that accountant? I'm looking to start a trading LLC on the CBOT and needed some info/assistance.

Is the CPA for taxes, audit etc? What do you need them to do?

Do they have to be local? Email me directly and I'll try and get you a name that you can contact.

  6. Its more for entity creation (or if I need one), questions on qualifying for tax trader status, mark to market etc. I am working full time(from home) and have no plans to quit and I keep on reading that this could prevent me from qualifying unless I trade in an entity. I've sent an email.

    Here are some helpful links.

For entity creation, I have used:
    IRS to get your EIN:
    https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/modiein/individual/index.jsp
Blumberg Excelsior Corporate Services for entity formation:
    https://www.blumberg.com/corporate_services/nationwide.html

You will also need an LLC agreement-use any online service. Keep it simple for sole member LLC. Consult someone for a partnership.

You will also need a business bank account to move money out of your brokerage account in the name of the LLC.

To decide if you should use an entity and if you should request TTS, I would contact Green Trader Tax.
