George Zimmerman never murdered anyone. The legal system clearly stated he was totally justified in his actions. Nice attempt at putting forward a fake narrative.

  3. I don't understand the verdict, not even involuntary manslaughter? Many people are outraged over this so when do the riots begin?....oh wait never mind.....

  4. Too bad he didn't just slap her on the ass. The left would want a life sentence for that. So this is how we proceed with the war on women? Make them feel uncomfortable, you're ruined. Kill them, hey, accidents happen.

This is not going to be popular but this jury most likely returned the right verdict.

The case was presented to the jury that Lopez-Sanchez went to the pier with the gun with the intent to kill someone.

Sanchez was a homeless drug addict, with a second grade education and no history of violent crimes. The man was poorer than anyone you know but somehow got his hands on $1000 elite tactical SIG Sauer with a hair trigger. It doesn’t fit. He was more likely looking to score some drugs.

Secondly, the shot that hit this poor woman was a ricochet off the concrete. The prosecution argued Lopez aimed directly at Steinle and had to firmly pull the trigger. It doesn’t line up with the trajectory of the shot or the pressure needed to fire the gun.

If the prosecution would have argued simple criminal neglect, they would have probably gotten a man slaughter conviction.

It’s all about how the case was presented and the political pressure to get a murder conviction rather than man slaughter.

  8. Sadly, you are correct. Another case of a prosecutor letting politics determine the charge they bring. Had they at least given the jury the option to consider a lesser charge, the verdict would have been more appropriate. Prosecution should of known better, especially considering who leads the Public Defenders office in San Francisco. Radical leftist, self proclaimed activist, Matt Gonzalez. "Gonzalez was the main sponsor of a ballot measure that created the highest minimum wage in the country. He also proposed a measure to give illegal immigrants the right to vote in municipal elections."
When you know you're up against a guy like that whose main priority is destroying the system of justice, one should give themselves a little more room to operate.

The jury had the option to convict him on involuntary manslaughter. The defendant basically admitted to involuntary manslaughter before the trial started.
