What do you consider a nice profit? Your cost is 23.18; Although the high Friday was 23.96, it traded there for less than a minute, realistically you might have got 23.68 a 50 cent gain. Is 50 cents a nice profit? It closed Friday at 22.42. As it stands you now have an unrealized loss of 76 cents. How far are you going to let it go down before you give up and take your loss. By far the most important part of trading is keeping your losses small.
I consider any profit a nice profit but I guess I shouldnt have said good (yet). But I'm holding it becuase Facebook is being boycotted by over 1000 companies who have all pulled their advertising plans. Others are boycotting twitter. Now snap all ready has offered all them a deal to come over. I'm gonna wait till it happens I also want to hold onto as much of anything and everything I can et my hands on because I believe once the gov. finally announces this stimulus package stocks will go up across the board. Again just my opinion.
FLDM looks very interesting. They just got a big loan. This might be a contender but I'm not endorsing it just yet. It's on my watch list not my buy lost. Too soon to say.
Yea I seen that. But I'm not so concerned wheather facebook wheather that storm or any more that are to come as this boycott picks up steam and more companies and users boycot. I'm only concerned where those advertisers go and snap has a plan on place to attract them. Again I could be dead wrong about it moving the stock up but I personally like what I see and am looking forward to a Monday to see what happens. I could certainly be wrong.
Just know that advertising is not where FB gets most of it's revenue. They ain't just a click-through paradigm. Like the Ark. Click-thru history, or BE history?
I wish facebook well but I'm not really concerned if they can survive this or were they get money to stay afloat. I'm more concerned about the advertising they are losing not so much them. I am interested in the advertising that is now looking for somewhere else to land. Ofcourse the more Facebook loses it would seem Snap would stand to benifit but I dont know for sure. I'm just guessing here.
Do you use Snap and FB together? I do not use Snap, so I do not know what advantage one might have over the other. Maybe that can help you decide how one business's loss might lead to the other's gain?
