My post was directed at AOC because, uh, that is the whole title of the thread. If the thread were about Trump then I'd talk about him, like most of your post did.

If so, why are you so intent on defending her ever since? Why not just reiterate that she is a kook?

If we're ever going to have any type of detente between left and right, we have to start focusing on issues and stop defending stupid people on both sides of the aisle.

So she is marginal, meaning on the outskirts. Ms. Bonamici is unknown.

To say AOC is a bimbo bartender is dangerous. She is sharp and if you put anyone behind a microphone they’re gonna gaffe after enough time. Just pick any dem or Republican and I can just pull up some gaffes as an exercise.

So no, she is not a bimbo. She has an Econ degree from Boston U, probably a better school and tougher degree than you or I have.

She is, however, very dangerous. She was recruited and has the support of a very economically radical group branched off of the Bernie Sanders campaign.

So I find it odd that you stated you would have voted for Bernie over Trump but you dislike her. She’s Bernie Sanders Jr. There’s not a dimes worth of difference between her and him.

You did. But your post less about agreeing with me and more about showing Trump as an idiot. I agree with you that both are idiots. But as you say, she has better tits (although the lefties should go crazy over that comment, as you are objectifying women).

Ok, so "unknown" to you is marginal to the rest of us. And your "marginal" refers to someone on the news 24/7. Got it.

There's a difference between a gaffe and a completely false assertion. A gaffe is unintentional, whereas AOC truly meant to say most of the things she has. Sharp. Lol...sure.

She's a bimbo, and just because she has an econ degree doesn't make it not so.

I say bring it. It can only help the right by alienating anyone with a modicum of intelligence who is undecided.

Bernie is an idealist who believes socialism is a better solution than capitalism. I disagree with him, but I agree with a lot of his points about banks, Wall Street, inequality, and so on. AOC is just plain reckless.

  8. Great point. She runs the party now and whomever she endorses for president is getting the nomination. Get in the way and you can start applying for lobbyist jobs. You can ask Creepy Joe and that guy AOC primaried.

  9. Truth is the truth.

    Trump is an idiot
AOC is over hyped and people are over reacting to her presence.
and she does have better tits than Bernie.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Liz Cheney disagree on Twitter over knowledge of 22nd Amendment, Constitution

House Reps. Liz Cheney and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez clashed on Twitter over each other's understanding of the Constitution.

Cheney, R-Wyo., took issue with a comment Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., made during a recent MSNBC town hall event in which the freshman congresswoman talked about Democrats being in control of Congress in the 1930s and 1940s.

“When our party was boldest, the time of the New Deal, the Great Society, the Civil Rights Act and so on, we had, and carried, supermajorities in the House, in the Senate. We carried the presidency,” she told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.

“They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure (President Franklin D.) Roosevelt did not get reelected,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.

In response to Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks, Cheney tweeted: “We knew the Democrats let dead people vote. According to AOC, they can run for president too.”

The New Yorker then fired off her own response.

“Hey Rep. Cheney, I see from your dead people comment that you get your news from Facebook memes, but the National Constitution Center + Newsweek are just two of many places where you can clarify your misunderstanding of the history of the 22nd Amendment,” she wrote.

According to the National Constitution Center, discussion of the 22nd Amendment and a term limit began in 1944 after presidential candidate Thomas Dewey warned a “16-year term for Roosevelt was a threat to Democracy.”

Roosevelt died while in office in 1945 and the 22nd Amendment was approved by Congress in 1947. The Amendment reads, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some of other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”

Cheney continued to throw barbs at Ocasio-Cortez and tweeted a video from “Schoolhouse Rock” that talks about the basics of the Constitution.

“Hey AOC, I know you’re busy so I thought this short would be helpful to introduce you to the basics of the Constitution. If you’re still trying to figure out how a bill becomes a law, they have a great video on that, too,” she wrote.

As of Tuesday morning, Ocasio-Cortez didn’t respond to Cheney’s latest tweet.
