My play for friday was JMAR but didn't get my fill, lol. Oh well, can't win 'em all, made quite a bit on my options position that I put in thursday at close. Play for monday is GASE.

BUY 2030 shares of GASE, Gasco Energy Inc
    at LIMIT of 1.61 DAY

Also, I recently remembered that I was given a stockstalker subscription as a gift (thanks David!) and was asked to give it a spin and give a non-biased review. I'll try my best, every night in addition to my normal pick I'll start looking at some of the buy candidates and will post some paper trades in this journal. For now I'll keep the rules the same, 2% profit target, discretionary EOD analysis as far as alternative exit. We'll see how it goes, for tomorrow...

    CDN @ 15.85
    APA @ 37.23

Only looked through about a fourth of the buy candidates. Would be nice if there was a price and atr filter.

In and out of GASE, 1.61 to 1.65. Both CDN and APA would've worked out if I had gotten my fills. This is all a learning process for me, with this more expensive stuff I may try using at market entries, less chance of a bad gap.

Over the weekend I went back over all of the buys\sells and I don't think I'd even come close to taking some of these trades..
BUT..I sure can't argue with your gains..That means I have to consider changing my mind about your method.. Humm....
Very interesting results. Keep it going and Thanks.. agpilot

Yes, I have heard that from many. I guess what looks risky to some doesn't necessarily look risky to others, depends on the trader.

  8. Nice stock pickin! Compounding makes all the difference. You ever considered diversifying, more stocks=less risk?

Yes, I most likely will when I start approaching 5kish. That's also a reason why I'm starting to experiment with larger cap stocks, to make it easier to continue trading as capital balloons.

  10. Sounds reasonable to me. Of Course its more difficult to diversify a small portfolio... Good luck with your trades!
