Those are the DETAILS, the actual substance of the article is the quote 'if you are poor, just stop being poor' which is one of the most idiotic things said by a Republican in the last 24 hours.

    And how is it idiotic?

Did you not read .. or comprehend what I stated about my grandfather? Grew up poor on a farm. Dropped out of school in 4th grade. Worked farm from 10 - 13. Then into a factory. Later started a business.

See, he CHOSE to do something about his plight in life. Not bitch and whine as you want to do. Anyone who wants to succeed can. But many would rather have $$$$ handed to them for doing NOTHING. Easier to collect $50K per year in government benefits than to work your butt off to make that same $50K or more.

Sorry, don't watch Fox News. I prefer to deal with facts. Democraps mindset of spend, spend and spend some more. And oh yeah, let's not even have a budget. Money grows on trees. Free money for everyone. Hey, those of you making over $90K we'll give you subsidies for Odumbocare. Let's keep expanding medicaid cutoffs. How can we (Democraps) buy even more votes? Let's give away $$$ until we're all rich! That's the way many Dumbocraps think.

Republicans have got the freeloaders locked up.

Three Kentucky counties — Owsley, McCreary and Wolfe — are the only places that rely on government programs such as Social Security, food stamps and Medicaid for more than half of income.

The results of the 2012 presidential elections by county, per AP:

Owsley: Mitt Romney 83%; Barack Obama 17.9%
McCreary: Mitt Romney 80.0%; Barack Obama 18.7%
Wolfe: Mitt Romney 60.3%; Barack Obama 38.1%
