If you want to fail as a trader, study TA

  1. Here is my view on this thread.
TE is TE and always will be. Regardless if TE was having fun in this thread, was trying to teach new folks or learning himself ( since we all need to be open to learn in trading as in life) there are very good general fundamentals which clearly stays what to do and not to do if you're to become a trader.
As far as specific trading details go, things weren't that clear for OBVIOUS reasons and it's up to a trader to observe, analyze and test if new and possibly powerful concept were presented and potentially can improve trading results.
I'm back with the Market; tat a tat, to have some answers to my questions. And the truth is if you know how to ask you might get an answer from the Market to the question(s) you have.
Eventually, you might look at something and say: "Jee this so clear and simple now, how couldn't I see it years before".
The truth is even though it looks simple for the one who sees it's not necessary that you can get it in a simple manner. Some of those might just take a lifetime experience.
I wish everyone good luck in their trading or as RN mentioned in their Journey.

    amp.

P.S… My observation only has to do with trading concept of this thread and the rest have been disregarded as it should be if one is to improve skills of "Gambling with the Market". If I'm to start a new thread in a future that would be the name.

  2. This is frustrating, because it looks like gibberish. Still, im grateful too you for throwing me a bone.

GLA? Stock symbol? An acronym? Does the 'L' stand for 'long'?

    "JSBDJKWHDUIWHDUIWGHEUWGEGWEUIGWUIEGHWUIEGWUIOGEWGEUIWGEUWIGEWUIEGWIU"
again. Very confused. A sequence where each letter responds to e market move?

    I still don't SEE...

  4. Funny or sad depending on which side of the success line you stand on.

Beginning a stimulating conversation in order to allow people's minds to open up to new ideas is one thing.

Playing mind games with people that are serious about learning a new skill they can feed themselves and their familys using is entirely a different thing all together.

Did everyone overlook the fact that Redneck was a heavy supporter of TE? I would say that goes a long distance around these parts.

  7. Bottom line is that (although he never explicitly stated it) TE was promoting the use of straight forward vanilla price action analysis.

Inside bar breakouts etc. IOW the KISS principle...

There are many traders who consider the ability to read PA as being the true "Holy Grail" of analysis.

  8. Is this third move where cascading will occur and IBs going down or have we gotten away from that big crash given all the hope out there?

I am sure we will have a big move...but how intense it will be...cant wait personally.

  9. I dont think he was, man.

There's already lots of such threads dedicated to such, where the OP speaks in plain english and not silly riddles. What would be the point in starting this thread?

  10. No, quite the contrary.

RN periodically ask me questions in this thread at his own initiative.

He really covered the waterfront including questions on being in the market ALL the Time.

He brought up how trading works and not losing while being in the market all the time.

With respect to signals, he asked about the FTT specifically.

To keep is simple for his line of questions, I only dealt with the part of mathematics called Arithmetic. I did step over the line a little and used the word "absolute value amd one market term that RN and TE do not use, ordinarily: Premium.

Since he asked about "how much" by using one of my standards; I took the "chance" he offered me with his questions and offer to explain 40 trades a day using Arithmetic.

Another person also was offering ES trading advice, So I souped up his chart to deal with the parts of the day he was on the sidelines. The 100 dollar trades were really a little bigger but no one caught on, I guess.

It was interesting how TE figured out how to choose his alias for this thread. I never met an expert who was unkind to others. TE wasn't either which is an indirect proof when you think about it.

I agree with prflogic; it is a shame that no one in the thread was taught logic when they were young and language learning prone. It is too bad logic bocomes so antithetical for most by the time they consider making money and becoming wealthy.

It is hard to imagine making 500 dollars in two days. Even harder is imagining what is happening all those other days.

I rememeber when RN was challenging others in trading. He soon gave that up permanently.

Trading comes down to a simple mind game that uses the same three operators that you use to drive a car: spatial. patterns and movement.

Does driving involve the fear, anxiety and anger that TE always led with? No it doesn't; you drive with unconscious competence.

If people would not go into reaction to the opportunity of making money in the markets; they might just join with the market and keep taking its offer. Its like driving down the road. Nobody keeps driving in a ditch and screaming foul noises at people they watch driving down the highway along side them.

We should start a thread that shows 30 different ways to take the markwet's offer all the time. Why does RN "give me a chance" to show him how to trade in this thread? Why did he ask me all those Q's? He has read everthing we all wrote.
