I won't waste my time with all those words you typed out, hershey squirt. I'll let the trades do the talking.

Now back up all that talk with your trade! Thank you very much.

I only trade 1 lot at a time hershey squirt. first trade of the day. I woke up a little late but I played off a small spring on the 1075.3 level that I have noted. Watching for some consolidation around that area now.

Where are you at squirt? Please enlighten me some more with your magical TA talk. It was extremely beneficial to everyone in this thread, I can assure you.

3 trades total. I think I'm done for today. We'll see. Sure was a nice call off of 1075.3 there....

Now put all of that blabbing you did in this thread to work, squirt!
Post those trades up, sir. Thank you.

And this is the stuff TE pokes fun at? I think not. haha.

I know nothing either as I am a lifelong student of the market as well. Always learning...but I won't learn anything from Jack Hersey Squirt's mind numbing banter.

I do like you and the things you say TE  despite the possibility of some misguided twathead thinking I'm sucking up.

In fact, taking a lesson from your colourful language, I used some similar choice words directed at my moronic neighbours recently. It didn't go down very well.

You remind me of someone I used to work with who was often less than complimentary in his views of the company we work for. I realised that he and myself were cynical bastards (more likely just realists) compared to the vast majority who are company men. It amazes me how so many people I work with, younger and older, who seem commited to their jobs and really absorbed in their work. In fact when I woke this morning I thought 'fuk it, I'll take the day off'.

There are things I'd like answers to, its obvious, but I don't have any expectation of getting a clear answer, so I don't ask, especially in view of the warnings you mention that you've had. Although I have read the various threads by you and NY, and I have picked up some insights, I have yet to make any profit from what I've learned. The fact that I can only catch the afternoon session of the NYSE is a hinderence. Maybe I'm just too thick to make sense of whats been presented but I fail to see why you have been warned for giving away too much. Best that you take care though.

  8. Good for you. Nice to see someone making money!
So, I assume you dont use Ichimoku anymore as you mentioned in this thread that 'TA loses money in the long run'?
So you are trading off of fundamentals or something instead now?
    cheers

Thanks. They weren't amazing trades but they worked and were spot on. Would've been nice to have been back for the short call, but oh well. They come and go everyday. Anything over 2 points is good for me and the 10 point days that happen every once in a while are pretty special.

Almost everyone that gambles enough loses money in the long run. It's not the indicator, it's the person and their rules. You do something until it doesn't work. Then you have to change and adapt. This is how mechanical systems work in nature. This is also how the most successful businesses in the world are ran. They use a set of steps, starting with step 1 and they follow them strictly. (our government) If your trade fails, you look at the steps and find where you went wrong. You might have to change one step to prevent the same thing from happening again. Work it everyday. This is similar to solving a rubik's cube. It's done in steps. In this game though, you may never lock everything in exactly because this cube likes to change shape, but at least you will make it a lot farther than most people.
