TE and NYSEstocks have said several things that threw me off and I bet also did to quite a few others. IMHO he is quite a teaser. They/He acted as if there was some arcane pattern, mindset, or holy grail that you need to know to trade. This is BS. I am going to give it right here. The words "do more of whats working and less of whats not" apply to everything in life and ESPECIALLY to trading. The only other thing you need to know besides that one line above is that risk is completely personal. No one(not even the market) is out to get you. Take responsibility for your losses because they are a cost of doing business. The more you fold the closer you get to hitting the home run. The markets work in 1 way and 1 way only. To win you must understand odds. To win big you must be willing to lose more often than you win. There is no shortcut. The bigger you want to win the more extreme you must be with the odds. Now stop wasting your time worrying about methods of buying and selling and spend your time learning how to manage risk.
Nice post trackstar although I felt TE was just saying, "take a step back and think about what you are doing".
Sure if you know it all ALREADY, then how come YOU were "threw off" It is very easy to throw words about, but, it is an entirely different thing to be able to demonstrate that you KNOW something about what you speak A bucket will a small hole will still empty, unless the hole is plugged Next time, try thinking BEFORE you act, and who knows, even YOU might learn something of value TE
Not really, if you but read it and think! Any person who thinks that they are correct in "learning the ropes" on their own, is, well, an idiot. Do you think all successful businesses are run this way:eek: As TE has mentioned many many times, "a wise man learns from the mistakes of others". TE also knows that very very few will ACTUALLY benefit from what he says and does, and, this is very very normal. So, for all who read what TE posts, well, "the choice is yours, always has been, and always will be" TE
BTW, do not be afraid to say what YOU think:eek: If YOU think that TE is a shit head, then SAY IT If YOU like what TE says, than also SAY IT You will never get anywhere by not opening YOUR mouth:eek: The more SPECIFIC you are with your words, the more specifics you may get in return, depending on the theme! TE needs to be careful, as he has already been warned, more than once, and if he starts to give away TOO much again, he might just find himself TFO It never hurts to ask TE
As RN was kind enough to offer his valuable time, then, I think it is warranted to post a few serious words, with no funny faces or no bull shit. Coming up next. TE
"TE needs to be careful, as he has already been warned, more than once, and if he starts to give away TOO much again, he might just find himself TFO"
By no means do I know it all. But at least I don't proclaim I do by calling myself the expert. I read enough of your jabber to know that my time would have been better spent doing anything else. I just hate to see others also wasting theirs.
Trading is a mugs game, if you are a mug! What does this mean? In simple terms, it means the following. If you are silly enough to believe the rubbish that is put forward by people, who, it is very obvious are only acting for personal financial gain, then you fall into the category of the "mug". There is no substitute for experience, full stop. Young people, tend to think that they "know" it all, forgetting that they have very little experience under their belt to compare what they have just learned with what they had previously learned. At a certain time in your life, the penny drops. When this happens, you will look back on your life, and say to yourself, "how was I such an idiot to believe all that rubbish?". So, the first step is "realization". If a person can fully understand that the world is not what it appears to be, then, and only then, can a person start to think differently to most. Once you start to think differently to most, things will start to take on a new meaning for you. With this change in understanding, you will then start to change you habits, as all human beings are habitual, due to the way we are wired. With a change in habit comes a change in character. When you change your character, you will suddenly find that a different type of people are now attracting your attention. When you interact with such people, you will then start to discover new things. This is what life is all about - discovery! So, do you now see what the phrase really means? "The choice is yours, always has been, and always will be" TE
I have done my homage to RN, now, back to reality WELL FUK OFF, YOU DUMB ASS TRADER, FOR NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK, REALLY
