-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "NY is probably one of the best traders I ever had the pleasure of trading with, and, he has taught me a lot since I joined TFF." "TRADERS ARE BORN, NOT MADE" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, even though there are lots of contradiction in your and NY threads I should admit that I was able to improve my trading taking in consideration some of the aspects written. Thanks for that. amp.
Traders are born is true, because just about anybody should be able to do this. What is made of people after they are born is where things fall apart. People are misinformed and miseducated to the point where they can't do this anymore.
You are welcome IB, for, it is only when YOU starting using your brain that YOU will start to make some GOOD money trading. TE does not like a few things as follows. 1. People who charge others for so called "trading" information 2. People who think and believe they know it all 3. People who are not willing to help others 4. People who are Dumb Ass Traders Other than that, I like everyone else and do not mind sharing some real life experiences in relation to trading. TE
I reckon it's like Mr Miyagi in Karate Kid, "wax on, wax off, wax on, wax off." If you study price action long enough then eventually you learn to read it, and can predict LIKELY reversals, continuations, etc. etc. The question is, how long does it take? The answer will be different for everyone.
Well, I caught this thread early, and quietly followed. No one from what I have seen has put this forward........ IF YOU USE A CHART OF ANY KIND THEN YOU ARE USING TA!!!!! Price action is TA. Anything other than trading based on future earnings is TA. Now there are a great many who do not get the price volume relationship, and thats fine. There are several others who do not understand volatility as it relates to price and volume. But understand, if you use a chart, OF ANY KIND, you are a technical trader. Caveat Emptor
Intelligent post and you didn't have to refer to yourself in the third person. I know this great place in Chi town that serves the best damn scallops . . . .
