He didn't realize he knocked him out cold. If you look at the replay, he's afraid to let his collar go, because the guy would just fall back, hitting his head on the concrete.

The asshole got exactly what he deserved. And he thought there'd be no consequences for his actions.

I love it when people stand up.

If you were the guy who stopped the punk, after witnessing what he had, would you had gone up to the guy and said, "excuse me sir, could I have a moment to chat with you?"

He was making sure he didn't flee before police got there.

 

That was one hell of a punch by the old fella.

 

We need more people like that old boxer. Most are too chicken shit to get involved.

Remember that video of the off duty cop in Chicago who went behind the bar to beat up that female bartender? Not one of those POS drunks sitting at the bar got up to help. Apathetic people suck.

 

he didn't 'detain' he assaulted him.

he could have simply grabbed and held him till the police arrived.

that punch was unexpected and with force, it could have KILLED him.

Did you see the way the guy was kicking the victim in the face repeatedly?

I wouldn't take a chance on having that guy assault me.

The old boxer did a commendable and reasonable job of instituting a citizen's arrest.

No jury in the world would convict that guy. They'd give him a medal and a key to the city.

The punk is lucky he didn't get his ass beat worse.

 

The older gentlemen (boxer) did the proper thing. Too bad for society he couldn't have just gone ahead and beaten that punk POS to death.
