If you live in FL, but trade elsewhere on vacation, must you pay their state income tax?

    I agree with that;
    but only about 95%,NY, NYC is getting a worse rep by the day for oVertaxing/ Micromanaging.
    It got so bad Wisdom Tree InVestMents[ NY, NYC i think, NY anyWay]; did front run for seVeral moth on FREE manageMT fees, but had to HOLD it 30 days or more LOL-LOL

    It kinda' helps that Florida has no state income tax.

    We use a software consultant from one of the old big eight. Says he files 11 state returns, because that where his income is earned. He also pointed out you get offsets from most other states.
    BTW it ain't a vacation if you earning income. Here in Illinois, we have treaties/agreements with most of our surrounding states.
