I would use the money as down payments on 2-3 single family homes. Not a gamble or bet.

 

All legal gambles have negative expectation. You do not want to place a bet on a negative expectation game. Investing is not gambling unless you turn it into one. Infinite QE3 makes buying high quality stocks a sure bet for the next 2 years at least. You should be able to turn 50K into 200K. AAPL will go to $1,000 before you know. GOOG will go to $900 during next year. Find stocks with no debt and good products and there you go. No need to gamble.
