...and your elec grid, which is separable from the remainder of the US, is evidently under the control of out of state financial interests out of - ready? Michiganderland. That's why she run so smooth. They may be evil but they ain't stupid over in the swamp. They pros and they do, repeat do think ahead.

Call em up. Tell them thank you, or whichwhatever suits your position and situation in relation to their performance. The right words in the right ears is infinitely more effective than the right words in space. You Pay These People. Contact your federal, state, and local elected leaders.
Please bookmark this link. Get to know the people that represent you and more importantly, let them get to know your position and situation. Give em an 'attaboy' once in a while. Five attaboys cancels out one 'oh shit'. Tell em those too.

Every sane citizen of The United States of America needs this link bookmarked and memorized from use. You got a lotta representatives. The lobbyists know them intimately, belee dat!

Istanbul is my top choice, love the city.

A small hillside city outside of Chengdu would be my second. Panda Research Center is there and you may see Panda in the wild from time to time if you are an outdoor person.

I would love to unpack for about 3 months at a clip in different cities. But in reality, that gets pretty hectic. Unless you're just there for the weekend as a "traveler", you're bound to run into difficulties. First, there's the language barrier. Then there's cultural difference. If you don't care about schmoozing with the locals, that might not be a problem. But then again, what's the point of moving there if you have no interest in mingling?

In the US, it is probably NC. If you live in the middle, it is mild weather, a few hours away from the mountains and the beaches. The mountains have mild snow...

Interestingly enough, I do live 2+ hours away from beaches and mountains...

Pacific Grove (Next to Monterey CA). Great weather...Fog rolls in most evenings. Cost is a bit pricey food and upkeep. A average home runs you 1.5 million. 2.5 hour drive from my home town. I would fly there and have a car ready at the airport or Uber it.

Great bike paths, also great town when school is in session (less tourist). I am older, I just rent motel rooms and bring my bike (Trek 7.3). It's the closest thing to an idol I have here on earth!!
