That is true, gas is rather pricey there, but driving distances are manageable and the vistas..... Worth the price. It is also a big tourist destination so you will always see happy people who are there to have a great time. I spent two months in Hawaii on vacation and visited all the major island.... one of the best vacations ever. Also, if you like to travel, Hawaii is in the middle of the ocean so going to Japan, China, Korea, South Pacific, NZ, Australia is much more manageable and much cheaper than from mainland USA. If it was not for my wife's very nice salary, I would already be living there.
Homer, Alaska: A quaint little drinking village with a fishing problem. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homer,_Alaska http://www.homeralaska.org/
Very nice place, cultured and plesant. There is a ferry to Helsinki (takes 1.5 hours). Aslo there is a flat tax which is not that high, I think is 10%. The only problem - winter, no wonder Germans got their buttocks kicked.
On food alone I would live in Italy for sure.... Italian food in US is so underwhelming compared to there.. Scenery it would have to be a Carribbean or Pacific Ocean island/waterfront locale. Women.... some place with the best Latin/Asian women wherever that could be and have the scenery and food. Japan is up there... Cost of Living... hoepfully I by the time I can do this I am such a big trader I can afford to live anywhere lol... Ahhh I still have not found a place with all 4
Well lets face it Sax, you stalk me.. you just get upset when I beat you.. Don't call down the thunder if you are going to piss and moan about the rain Now stfu and take that ZLC short on the 2min MAC
Ah, that's because you haven't been to Thailand.... Food is outrageously good and healthy. Scenery...no comments here...spectacular beaches, mountains, waterfalls. Women...those tiny little things...they look like dolls. Cost of living...you pay your food with change...everything is dirt cheap. Not to mention, excellent infrastructure and friendly people...
