  2. The dip buyers never give up. Another guy gave me a market statistic about there being a 90% NYSE downside volume day and a gap down the next day leading to rallies in all cases for the next day but one over the last 15 years. Guess when the exception was? Yesterday!

  6. I seriously think we may go into a mini depression. 5000 on the DOW is possible as is 1000 on the Nasdaq. Things are so bad everywhere. What is going to be the good news to move us ahead?

  7. The markets are oversold. It usually leads to a rally but when it doesn't, it often times leads to a catastrophe. The complacency in the face of such dire markets is indicative of a bull market transforming into a bear.

I think more weakness Friday unless we get the rate cut. There is just no catalyst out there except the Fed.

1-THAT THERE WILL NOT IN ANY WAY BE A 'SURPRISE' RATE CUT BEFORE FED MTG...NO WAY!

2-THAT THE YM IS SEEING MAJOR CHANGES NOW THAT ON GLOBEX...IE THE THREAD ABOUT NEW YM VOLATILITY...
