Now he's campaigning on America's Social Compact.... the OBLIGATION of the government to do all it can to help everybody with EVERYTHING. They don't care where it comes from... or that there's no way in Hell such largess can be paid for... all they know is "sounds good... I'll be waiting with my hand out for my money". The hoi polloi eat this up... just like the presumed promise of "Obama cash" last time.
To be honest, Obama did make a few of my mortage payments with his home buyer credits last year. The opposite is true on the gas issue. All I see are higher prices on gas. To Obama: drill baby drill! Get off your green energy kick and do something that matters for a change.
