ah ah . i have worked a lot on the ego and it shows on the results... let just say i am very wary of "corporations" in general, I am more entrepreunarial, which is one of the reasons I got attracted to trading in the 1st place. but then thinking about it yesterday again I think it is non sense indeed. my style/strategy/rules are pretty simple in the end, it is more down to execution and intuition and balls for the bottom line... not a mix you can replicate that easily altho I guess to some extent it can be taught...
anyway. was expecting this kind of teasing.. if you have any advice on (real) prop firms (not the ones after space/execution fees), thanks.
It depends what it is. your broker who sees all your trades can definitely figure out what you are doing under the right circumstances.
Strategies that make 300percent annualized in small amounts of money are not valuable. They all blow up. You may be the exception, but probably not.
so far have managed to regain drawdowns quite quickly... let s if that continues.. maybe markets have just been good... however approaching 1000 trades since beginning of track record. right now have only my gains to lose... not equity, or it seems a long way at least... yes broker might be looking at it... not sure there is any way around that one.....
We need more information to know if you really have a great track record. You say you made 100% over four months but if your gains totaled 1000% and your losses totaled 900%, that's not so great. If you made your profits by getting lucky with a few high-risk trades, that's not so great. In short, we (and you) need more performance stats to insure you're not just wasting everyone's time.
I don't have any experience trading prop. That said I have a good deal of experience in business and a good deal of trading experience. I find your opinion odd. Assuming a trader walks in the door with a dynamite methodolgy that not only puts up big numbers on the board but fits a risk profile they can live with, can you explain to me why they would not put someone on reversing engineering it? Even if that process only revealed certain aspects that allowed them to tweak things they were already doing it would have value. What am I missing here?
