If this were late 1930's Germany ...

The point of my post, in too many words, is that if you do not like what you read in the Politics section, don't read the content in it.

"Doctor, doctor, it hurts when I move my arm like this!"

"Then don't move your arm like that."

Yes, when your nation's symbol is also an eagle it will look similar. This is why some specifics were mandated after the war.

Edit: I just showed it to my wife and adult daughter with Trump's name covered. Both immediately said it was Nazi connected. My daughter said maybe it went back to Lindbergh.

  3. I like the eagle on the silver dollar. I hate it on the Nazi thing you posted. Most normal people would feel the same way.

You know the Nazis stole all their symbols from other countries right? They stole the swastika from the buddhists and they stole the Bellamy salute from the Americans. The eagle was stolen from the Romans.

But nice try trying to make it sound like Hitler came up with those symbols first and America loved Hitler so much they copied him. Idiot.

Democrats are denouncing republicans. Democrats are for eugenics with how they're pro abortion. Democrats are spreading propaganda and fake news.

Hitler took away the guns, Democrats want to take away guns. Hitler hated free speech and freedom of the press and sent his brownshirts to deplatform speech he didn't agree with.

I'm sorry...but YOU are on the wrong side of history here.

Don't get me wrong, it could be intentional (as they did w/the red triangles and 88 ads) but on casual observance, i give them plausible deniability.

As my wife said to me, and is Colombian so a bit apart from our world view, there are no coincidences in political design, everything is considered.

The plausible deniabiliy is designed into it.

America First was itself a political movement who's purpose was to prevent America entering WWII. It had broad support however it was dissolved immediately after Pearl Harbour.

Personally I can't believe they are sailing that close to the wind unintentionally. Its a massive dog whistle.

Those thoughts crossed my mind, "yeah, it looks like it could be intentional and a nod, but you'll eventually look like an idiot making a stink out of it due to other historical similarities".

Basically, political opponents need to be more diligent with which fights to pick. Not that it matters, the right will raise hell through one of their paid "left" outlets and do a false flag hit job anyway.

Nothing about the US under Trump is sustainable moving forward. You are like one of his Atlantic City casinos, all glittery with the promises of great riches, but in reality decaying to the core in need of a new owner before you get totally gutted. The virus is with ease operating in your country. Protests and social unrest are the norm. Your social systems and federal deficit are unsustainable on current trend.

In some ways, it's hard to overlook some of you assholes and see the US in a good light. This is how most Canadians see the US these days, like a lost soul you are hoping will find his way eventually. We'll invest in the international firms listed on US exchanges, that's the only good thing I see going on in the US these days.
