only small traders will go broke, while the HFTs continue to profit http://www.chicagotribune.com/busin...-data-leak-20130424,0,4124230.story?track=rss More than 90% of small traders lose! They just lose! http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-...-seen-profiting-at-small-firm-expense-1-.html
Good post. It's true but it seems to have nothing to do with the topic of the thread. You can set a stop every time you trade. By doing that, no matter how small your account is, you have contained the risk to the minimum level.
the comment "If this market keeps being manipulated, the us market won't be attractive any more" is the mind of a small trader. Only small traders think that way and they just lose. The comment should be: "if the market keeps manipulating small traders, the u.s won't be attracting small traders any more"
Aren't "manipulated" markets obvious by definition ? The OP might want to expound on what he defines as "manipulation" - QE2 and the consistent buying, perhaps ? We are already well versed in how HFTs manipulate markets, so please give that a rest for the time being.
