If this is the future of the USA, where would you choose to live?

  1. You cannot stop USA from splitting by closing threads in international forum. Actions has to be taken at the grassroot levels. Politicians are responsible for the fate of the country because politicians make decisions on behalf of the country.

I agree with you that "God Bless America" because at present America really needs God's help.

Also elitetrader is an international forum and members have the right to post their opinions/information.

  3. I do not think USA will break-up. But with politicians ruling the country, anything is possible. So be careful USA.

  5. If America could choose to be be split into 2 countries... Capitalist, lead by someone like Ron Paul... and Socialist lead by Obama or his ilk... and Americans could choose to live either where there was "less government and personal responsibility"... or where "government runs peoples' life", I'd vote for it.

The US chooses which lot every 4 years but neither seem to know/say the correct answers.

Its a sad fact for the people at the bottom of the heap but one of the answers is to let ALL immigrants in. It would solve the housing/property slump and force wages lower. BUT the unions wouldn't put up with that.

And just try stopping the fatcats creaming off all the extra profits tho !! BUT they wouldn't put up with that.

So while the politicos dither in Washington, things get worse and worse

Quantitive Easing - yeah great stuff but don't give the money to overstuffed bankers, give it to the poor. They would be delighted to rush out and spend it.

  7. Mostly because the REAL choices are between (1) Socialism, and (2) Socialism Lite.

Not much of a choice... Sort of like "Would you rather be stoned to death with (a) Big Stones, or (b) Smaller-than-Big Stones"?

Thank you for the post! I wasn't familiar with Kerala. What did you find most appealing about living there?

  9. The original post is...well, almost meaningless!

Were would I live????? That depends upon one's resources, no?

Do you have millions of dollars to spend?

Yes: Any place in the world where you desire.

No...here is where the "fun" begins...
Does weather affect you? Do you like cold? Do you like heat? Do you require someplace temperate???

Do you speak many languages - or just English?

Where are you a citizen? Would you mind being an "alien?"

Can you afford to put up your own energy sources? What will you do about water? Do you require energy for water?

I have answered these questions...but, then again, I am sure that many here consider me a "freak" - but, I have done the research...and own where I want to go when the SHTF :D

BTW - your time is limited!!! http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=208255

Which is why I've been calling for a bloodless military coup.

20-1 it will happen in the next 15 years.

The tipping point will probably be when the government orders the Army to get nasty with the civilian population. Then the Army, if it has any guts, will turn the tables on Washington :)
