------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Which chart? Peilthetraveler's picture chart?
I just read your post.... I see it sort of explains the chart in light of new thought. But that chart or diagram has been around for decades and when I saw it at the natural history musuem in New York as a 10 year old... we were told man was a direct descendant.
there are not "better explained" it is different to say man and monkeys had a common ancestor than to say man descended from monkeys. Do pancakes descend from waffles or do the both come from flour? I do not know but I am now in need of breakfast.
Apes, monkeys whatever. Sure it's different and not precise but to all intents and purposes paints the right general picture. You share the same ancestor as apes. Come on admit it , it's not waffles but that banana you really fancy for breakfast .
Not sure whether that first image is actually of an ape in the modern sense. Could be an "ape-looking", ancestral hominid.
watching a science program yesterday.... if the world is pretty much made up of all the elements and everything here is made up from these then does that mean we also really are a little bit of a rock, dinosaur and other dead people as well! Not really evolution but still --- what a way of recycling.
