Can't you have an offshore account or play with a Non-US company? Also, you can "rent" hosted computers located elsewhere in the world and play from there through remote control. Just thinking out loud (?)
You can turn that 400000 into over a million dollars in a year and here is how. One good stock used to be CSCO where it had traded within a channel for about 3 years until recently. You could trade it up and down all day and it was very predictable on the chart. Another stock that people dont think about is SUNW. The chart is very predictable and it seems to bounce between 3 dollars and 5 dollars and then back again. Its been doing this for a few years. Its going to hit 4 dollars in the future, then it will be time to load up. This is a very boring trade, but it will produce good returns. I would buy in at 3.9 and then sell over 5. It makes 2 roundtrips a year through the channel. There are also smaller channels in this set that are easy to trade. Notice how this chart is over a period of 3 years. SUNW takes a month or so to move up and down through the small channels. Then it takes 6 months to move through the larger channel. That is how you make a safe 300% return. SUNW has not traded over 6 dollars in quite a few years and just keeps going through the same sleepy channel. . . With 3 billion shares outstanding and a 50 million volume, the hedge funds cant manipulate this. SUNW will trade in this same sleepy channel forever...
Wrong on both accounts. They didn't ban poker, and there's plenty of action to be found. A friend netted $60k in Dec alone, $170k in 06.
