If Liberals Think America Is So Dangerous Because Of Our Gun Laws...

  1. you know bud, I can see how you older fellas are upset. That sadness is that the police state is already here, and has been here for a long time now.

The Android and the I phone have cameras built in. Young people are comfortable with constant surveillance. In fact they encourage it. Facebook and Twitter see to that.

Privacy is a thing of the past, for the most part.

  5. I don't have anything against technology, and have kept up to date. The technology has it's roots in military application. It can be used for good or bad. It will be used to slowly take away your rights. It is obvious. If you are comfortable with that, then the US will cease to be a free nation and you better get ready. What is amazing, is Russia seems to be moving slowly to the right, with the Orthodox Church attaining more say-so and power. The US is headed in the opposite direction of Socialism/Marxism.

You incredibly stupid uninformed ignorant fuck. Shall I post some real statistics on the subject as I've done many times before? Of course if you're going to dismiss them out of hand then why should I bother?
But it's OK when YOU do it, like you're doing now?
We ALREADY have gun control moron. Twenty Two THOUSAND federal state and local gun laws here in the US. If gun control was the solution we wouldn't even have a problem.

The columbine shooters broke 20 guns laws acquiring their weapons. Are you suggesting one more law would have stopped them? The Gifford shooter passed a background check. The Newtown shooter stole his weapons from his mother who had passed a background check. A criminologist in 1997 estimated that nearly 7,000 crimes a day are thwarted by armed citizens. Most never firing a shot. 11% of police shooting involve one or more innocent bystanders being shot BY THE FUCKING POLICE. Only 2% of armed citizen self defense shooting harm a bystander. More people are killed by claw hammers than assault weapons. Many many more people are killed by hospital staff errors than are killed by guns.

  8. You're right, but people don't want to hear the truth.

They only hear what they want to hear.

Gun crime has plunged, but Americans think it's up, says study

    http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-gun-crimes-pew-report-20130507,0,3022693.story

Gun crime has plunged in the United States since its peak in the middle of the 1990s, including gun killings, assaults, robberies and other crimes, two new studies of government data show.

Yet few Americans are aware of the dramatic drop, and more than half believe gun crime has risen, according to a newly released survey by the Pew Research Center.

In less than two decades, the gun murder rate has been nearly cut in half. Other gun crimes fell even more sharply, paralleling a broader drop in violent crimes committed with or without guns. Violent crime dropped steeply during the 1990s and has fallen less dramatically since the turn of the millennium.
