    Quote from monty IQ21:

Lucrum thinks Bush was a great president because he skyrocketed to a 90% approval following 9/11...

    In case you missed it.

  2. Oh you love Bush Lucrum.

Otherwise you wouldn't have taken the time to lookup and post those approval ratings... especially one where it had Bush at the top (for the sympathy of 9/11).

You tried to spin my earlier post about Bush's low approval polls when he left office. Unfortunately this is not Fox News.

I read this post of yours from another thread:
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=140498&perpage=6&pagenumber=25 Why do you have such a long list? Doesn't look like you can tolerate other people's opinions/assumptions very well.

    Happy Trading!

  5. I'm sure you're a solid guy so I'm not hating but just a couple of points.

Beyond Obama's pullout of around 105,000 troops over the next year the administration STUNNED Congressional Dems by offering no timetable at all on the remaining 50,000 troops.

My guess:The U.S. will keep an occupational "peace keeping" force of 30-50,000 Americans in Iraq the rest of our lives.

II: How can you say McCain is "another Bush?" McCain's voting record on fiscal policy is one of the most conservative in the Senate. He was also one of the least hawkish GOP members at the onset of Iraq. Quite a few Democrats bristled at the terms "McSame" and McBush" -including speechwriter Wendy Button who quit the Obama campaign and voted for McCain-and who said:
"...and also say that the Democratic Party’s talking points—that Senator John McCain is just four more years of the same and that he’s President Bush—are now just hooker lines that fit a very effective and perhaps wave-winning political argument…doesn’t mean they’re true. After all, he is the only one who’s worked in a bipartisan way on big challenges."

  6. I don't know why you have to resort to profanity and insults (as also witnessed in Iran thread).

I give my honest opinions on ET and am not forcing anyone to agree with me. I respect discourse with parties that disagree with me. I have never deleted anyone's post in my moderating duties. The only edits I make is when I erase profanity. On rare occasions I move a thread that is off topic to another forum.

  9. You're such a goodie goodie arguing in a shitty fashion but trying to appear to be above the fray... stats were posted, Bush didn't look as bad as you say he was.. if you don't like democracy, well... it's like the weather, you can always move...

  10. This was my answer:

    "Oh you love Bush Lucrum.

Consult that chart again. Bush's approval ratings were high because people were sympathetic to 9/11. It's kind of a misleading poll you mention (90%) because it lasted so shortly on the time horizon, but that's a different topic.

    1) By posting polls numbers where it had Bush at the top (for a short period), I intepretted that as defending Bush.
    2) Because you defended Bush, you must have supported him. It is very rare that people who do not like Bush would support him considering his horrible resume.
