This is way off in the weeds, but veterans care (ie, Walter Reed Hospital) got markedly better when they started issuing private sector healthcare vouchers to the veterans on the long end of the waiting list.
Hedging hedging....its gonna get worse and you know it. It is exponential in its spread. We had a chance to stop it in beginning. But it was novel and no one knew what to do. No politician I know of would have known what to do to be able to stop it. Nobody knew what to do. Biden doesn’t know what to do to stop it. Neither did trump. Biden would have done no better than trump IMO. Maybe worse? The so called “health experts” didn’t even know what to do. One day saying this then soon after contradicting themselves by saying the opposite. Nobody knew. They still don’t. I surmised in March about what MIGHT work. I said long time ago in March declare martial law..mobilize military..shutdown completely for to 8 weeks. Completely close all borders and international travel. Throw a few trillion a people as they go through this total shutdown so they can survive financially or Mandate all things stop....car payments ...house payments...loan payments....and mandate picking back up as if nothing had happened once the thing has run it’s course. Of course no one agreed with me. NO ONE. The democrats even got mad and railed on Trump when Trump restricted flights to and from other countries...so so much for them democrats solving the problem...... See, only the military can mobilize fast enough to get food to people..the very sick into hospitals...etc...politicians and civilians can NEVER organize and move fast enough on these issues. All active people (Military..doctors..hospital staff..etc) would daily have to be tested daily. I would stay home for 8 weeks for the good of the country and others. I could even go Without solid food for 30 days. I know I have done it before. After 8 weeks start opening back up but only with well people. Slowly increase this as people get over it or die. Look it spreads from person to person. We know this correct? So logically what do we do to mitigate that? We actually know now don’t we? The question becomes then; are we willing to make the sacrifices? The answer is NO WE AREN’T. Don’t blame the trumpers...and republicans..independents...there are plenty of leftists...socialists ..democrats...etc that are behaving carelessly and don’t care and aren’t willing. Until the people are willing nothing will work regardless of who is in government. Biden campaigned on stopping it ..going with the science....etc. He won’t stop it. So the leftist and democrats blame trump for the situation as it is now. Soon the republicans will blame the democrats As it spirals worse, totally out of control. And the democrats will blame trump for them not being able to get it under control. Everybody pointing fingers and blaming everyone else. When they point their skinny fingers at someone else they forget they got three of their own fingers pointing back to themselves. Behavior of ignorant trumpers? I see plenty of lefties behaving ignorantly. Plenty of lefty looters..protestors...plenty of careless folks from both sides doing careless activities. Democrats and republicans both being careless. Mark my words Biden won’t stop it. He can’t. He could not have stopped it even if he were at the helm in March. He has trouble getting words together correctly how would he have stopped it in March. IT IS EXPONENTIAL. That means runaway...uncontrollable..unstoppable growth...Unstoppable...that is, without taking extreme measure ..measures that THE PEOPLE democrats...republicans..independents...communist..socialists... Me thinks it isn’t fake..no not at all..it is actually under reported in my IMO. I have friends who got it. Some are dead. Some survived it but it is indeed very real. I have a close friend right now in hospital. He came to within a hair of dying. He did not believe it was anything worse than the flu. I argued with him. To no avail. He was basically in denial to some degree. He went to a conference. He got it. His wife got it. Other members of his family got it. As far as Walmart's...well Walmarts did, at least for a while, not let you in if you didn’t have a mask. They have since slacked off. Wearing a mask isn’t the cure all but it can help reduce the viral load if a person comes in contact with it. In March when the “health experts” said masks did no good and leave them for the health care workers ...well it was at that point I knew I’d best make haste and start wearing a mask. I also, sanitize by wiping down my groceries with clorox and water or spraying them with alcohol. I also spray down the gas pump handles...touch pads...octane selector when pumping gas plus spray my hands down afterwards. My doors handles at home and car/truck along with steering wheel gets sanitized. If someone coughs close around me the air is liable to get sprayed! yes sir it is real. I am willing to stay home for 8 weeks. I got some greens to eat. There are rabbits and squirrels if I get desperate for some meat to eat. Soon some deer will be around. turnips..mustard..spinach...kale..lettuce...had some collards but the rabbits got hungry. P.S. I am still harvesting okra..bell peppers..jalapeño peppers from summer..
