You cant compare eating soup to trading, its...as you like to say "Completely outside the realm of trading"
You could make that argument if I was trying to tell people to trade with soup because soup contained magical math properties that lead to profitable trades. But I see why you might still be confused since you don't seem to have quite mastered analogies yet.
