I can agree that the Netanyahu administration does not want a two-state solution. Hopefully a more moderate Israeli government will be put into place in future elections that will lead to the path of a peace agreement with two states. However I do not hold out much hope of this currently -- especially with a new Trump administration in place which believes to proper solution is to expel all the Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. Jared is even proposing to build ocean front resorts in Gaza once the Palestinians are removed.
That made me laugh out loud. Also, will Jared then name the resorts in Gaza...Trump Resorts or Carroll Resorts ??? wrbtrader
The pogroms are now having a direct business impact. Businesses are pulling their Euronext exchange listings. The police just standing around allowing the masked thugs to do whatever they pleased is not going over very well. Ackman Says Amsterdam Violence Tipping Point for Delisting https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...to-remove-pershing-square-s-amsterdam-listing Pershing Square Holdings’ trading concentrated in London Ackman also pushing Universal Music Group to move to US Billionaire Bill Ackman said he’s going to seek to remove Pershing Square Holdings Ltd.’s listing from Euronext’s exchange in Amsterdam after violence against Israeli football fans in the Netherlands. The closed-end fund’s board had already been considering the move because the majority of the trading volume for the firm now occurs on the London Stock Exchange, Ackman wrote in a post on X. Today' Hint: Many of the families of Jews were living on the land known as Israel long before the Christian era.
Let's catch up with the premeditated pogrom in Amsterdam. 'Jew hunt': Rioters planned Amsterdam pogrom in Telegram groups in advance - report An alleged "Jew hunt" was announced well in advance in the messaging app Telegram, prompting rioters to travel from far outside Amsterdam to attack Israelis. https://www.jpost.com/diaspora/antisemitism/article-828211 'Criminals on scooters' carry out anti-Semitic attacks against Israeli football fans in Amsterdam Five hospitalised and at least 62 people arrested in Netherlands after ‘severe and violent incidents against Israelis’ https://www.standard.co.uk/news/wor...-violence-ajax-maccabi-tel-aviv-b1192815.html How bad is antisemitism in Europe? Amsterdam ‘pogrom’ follows rising hostility https://forward.com/fast-forward/673339/amsterdam-pogrom-maccabi-tel-aviv-antisemitism-europe/ Israel EVACUATES football fans from Amsterdam after Jews were beaten by mob screaming 'this is for Gaza's children' and forced to jump into canal to escape 'Arabic migrant' thugs https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...s-hunted-Israeli-football-fans-Amsterdam.html Quite rightfully the mayor of Amsterdam is going to lose her job. She allowed anti-semitic attacks in Amsterdam to proceed for months while taking no action. The soccer match pogrom is just the latest (and worse) in a series of antisemitic attacks in the city. Politicians across the nation are demanding Femke Halsema’s resignation. What does the 'Jew hunt' in Amsterdam spell out for local leadership? - opinion The question is whether the mayor can weather this storm, when even the vehemently non-political Dutch king spoke out against the violence in the streets of his capital. https://www.jpost.com/opinion/article-828199
Let's see what the pro-Hamas antisemities are up to in New York. Anti-Israel protesters bring kids to ‘rage playdate’ outside Schumer’s home, clash with NYPD for lacking permit https://nypost.com/2024/11/09/us-ne...eld-outside-sen-schumers-home-without-permit/
So is the university administration going to take any action to address the issue beyond saying a few "firm words"? Or just let the hate and threats slide like all the previous instances. Hundreds of ‘wanted’ posters were plastered across the University of Rochester campus. Jewish faculty members were targeted https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/12/us/university-of-rochester-wanted-posters/index.html
Those foreign students spewing anti-semitic hate -- their deportation is coming. Zionist org preps list of foreign pro-Hamas students, hoping Trump will deport them https://nypost.com/2024/11/23/us-ne...hamas-students-hoping-trump-will-deport-them/ A Zionist organization is compiling names of foreign students on visas in the US who spewed anti-Israel bile at campus protests — and is hoping President-elect Trump will give the haters a one-way ticket back home. So far, the group, Betar, has about 30 names of students from nations such as Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Canada, and the United Kingdom currently enrolled in some of the nation’s top universities, including Columbia, UPenn, Michigan, Syracuse, UCLA, The New School for Social Research, Carnegie Mellon, and George Washington University. “We have started commencing lists of Jew-hating foreign nationals on visas who support Hamas,” said Ross Glick, director of the US chapter of Betar. Betar has IDed the haters using a combination of facial recognition software and “relationship database technology” to weed out people who were busted at antisemitic campus protests over the last year. “One of our issues is processing power, there is just so much video to work through,” Glick said. Betar is already in contact with “prospective” Trump administration appointees in the Justice Department about how best to take action on those identified, Glick said. Among those on the list is Momodou Taal, a British national and PhD candidate in Africana studies at Cornell University, who was suspended twice for participating in a pair of on-campus Palestinian protests, most recently in September. University officials initially told Taal that the latest incident would lead to his F-1 visa being revoked, Newsweek reported. The Ivy later backed down. Weeks after the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack in Israel, Trump vowed to deport foreign students who chanted in support of radical Islamic terrorism. He reiterated that promise to donors in May. “When I am president we will not allow our colleges to be taken over by violent radicals. If you come from another country and try to bring jihadism or anti-Americanism or anti-Semitism to our campuses we will immediately deport you. You’ll be out of that school,” Trump said at a rally that same month. Said Glick: “We are strongly supportive of the Trump Administration’s plan to deport jihadis who seek to destroy America. Our campuses and our streets are filled with violent people who hate Jews and cannot co-exist with Western society.” On Wednesday, Glick was on Capitol Hill meeting with lawmakers including pro-Israel Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). Glick was in town to protest a Senate vote on whether to initiate an arms embargo against Israel. Glick also met with aids to Republican Sens. Ted Cruz and James Lankford. “They all gave me the thumbs up and told me how to follow up,” Glick said. On the legislative front, Staten Island Rep. Nicole Malliotakis introduced a bill in February — the No Visas for Anti-Semitic Students Act — that would “revoke the visas of students who have engaged in antisemitic activities.” “Entering our country to attend one of our esteemed universities is a privilege, and foreign students who conduct antisemitic activity on our campuses should have their visas revoked,” Malliotakis said. “I’m pleased the Trump Administration plans to take immediate action to have these individuals removed.” Betar doesn’t shy away from controversy. The organization has been censored on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp because of a joke it made about handing out beepers to members of a pro-Palestine group at the University of Pittsburgh, referring to Israel’s targeted beeper bomb attack against Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. The group takes its name from Betar fortress, a prominent location in the Jewish-Roman wars of the second century. Betar was founded in 1923 by Ze’ev Jabotinsky, a prominent early Zionist leader.
