I see some administrators at NYU need to be fired. They didn’t want the NYPD on campus and allowed antisemitic pro-Hamas clowns to take over the campus. The administrators needed to reverse course as the situation spun out of control and the NYPD came on campus and arrested over 150 of these rioters who were wandering campus claiming they were trying to find Jews to kill and shouting all sports of hate.
Were the 150 arrested rioters...students or non-students ? If students are among the 150 arrested, there are ways to deal with those arrested students as outlined in the student's code of ethics especially if they're caught making threats, disrupting classes to prevent other students from attending classes, etc. The rioters need to get into their cars and drive to the gate of the White House and protest there instead of harassing/threatening students at their campus. At the minimum, get a permit and march/protest through the streets...not on campus. Heck, show some intelligence and band together to drive down the stock prices of Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Boeing, and RTX (formerly Raytheon) that sell weapons to Israel. There are nationwide and global organizations that would welcome those students because they've been fighting for divestment for decades (Yep, it's a problem that has been going on for many decades). Threatening other students will never be an answer. Thus, arrest any student threatening another student. If they're students too, expel those students from the university if they're identified as a student threatening to harm another student. It's no different than a student/athlete being arrested on campus for a DWI, assault, or robbery...the student code of ethics requires the student to be expelled and kicked off campus. There's a reason why lame-ass administrators of NYU and others have this problem versus other Universities that do not have this problem. wrbtrader

It's not antisemitism to call out Israel for the bombings of civilians in Palestine. In contrast, it's antisemitism for hurling hatred and threats toward Jewish students at U.S. universities. It's not shocking that many of us as Americans do not understand the above. Simply, hate the leaders...not the people. If someone doesn't like what their university is doing...transfer to another university or protest in front of the administration offices but be prepared to be kicked out of the dorms, kicked out of school, or expelled from school when there's violence against another student that's just trying to go to class. wrbtrader
The problem is 90% of these spoiled college clowns are protesting to be cool and join the fad. So many social media posts where they are asked about what they are protesting or the serious issues and they are clueless. A sociology major or American Studies major at an Ivy Leage school knows shit about shit, definitely not enough to delve into complex Middle East politics in history. Most of them do not even know what intifadah means or what the scraf they are wearing represents. They are on mommy and daddy's dime hanging out on the quad drinking and dancing without a clue.
The issue is that they're preventing other students from attending classes...many of those other students are not Jewish and have never been to Israel. The sad part or maybe the stupid aspect...Israel and Palestine have been killing each other for decades. These two countries will continue killing each other for decades to come. Yet, these students still chose in their free will to enroll at a University that's investing in Israel along with trying to get their diploma from a University they strongly dislike before enrolling at the university. Just as bad, these students knew that some of the famous alumni mega-donors are of Jewish heritage but these students still enrolled at the university. In addition, I don't think these students realize the university has been quietly identifying each student participating in any protest that resulted in hurling hate speech and threats at other students. University typically do the above so that they can do "targeted expel" and then the university sends in the campus police to arrest those students for "trespassing" on campus property because the expelled student is no longer a student of the university. I am happy to read some of the Universities are cracking down and arresting people and suspending them from the Univeristy for continuing to trespass on school grounds and blocking access to school buildings or services. Almost all the schools have allowed the groups to be on a grassy area and have their encampments but the so called protestors have abused their 1st Amendment rights (which are limited on private campuses). Most of them are self righteous spoiled kids joining in on the fad of social justice warrors and they have no clue about the issues between Israel and Palestinians, what intifadah means, what scarves or flags they are waving or even the chants they are screaming at jewish students who have no connection at all to Israel or the war. I saw that Colombia and U of Florida for example gave a week's worth of warnings and then have moved in. If you are a student, you are suspended. If you are not a student, you are trespassing and banned from campus. No fucks are given to a family who struggled to get their child into a top school and now their baby Karen is suspended and kicked out. Go try community college if you have no understanding of the rules and warnings. Finals are coming up and these kids should be getting ready to study given the $50k - $80k cost of their education on useless majors rather than singing and dancing all day with no clue what they are even protesting.
