  1. Psychologist Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at Cambridge's Autism Research Centre have created the Autism-Spectrum Quotient, or AQ, as a measure of the extent of autistic traits in adults. In the first major trial using the test, the average score in the control group was 16.4. Eighty percent of those diagnosed with autism or a related disorder scored 32 or higher. The test is not a means for making a diagnosis, however, and many who score above 32 and even meet the diagnostic criteria for mild autism or Asperger's report no difficulty functioning in their everyday lives

I scored 33. but I knew I was sick and I have trouble functioning in everyday life. Some days are better than others

  2. Yes, Michael, we all know you are sick, but we have kept quiet about it out of kindness. Now that it's out in the open, maybe you'll finally seek the treatment you so desperately need.

    Don- :D

  4. So what, I have some issues. I got no boss and got no co-workers. I remain a profitable trader. I got a 31 which is borderline. Hey, I have been on the border looking at both both sides wondering what a "real life" was like my entire existence. Someone said ignorance is bliss and so is this state that I am in, which is evidently just a short drive from abject dysfunction.

Sort of off-topic but interesting and absolutely true....

There is a gentleman I ran across who at 36 lives with his mom. As a "savant" his gift was geometric relations. He also had a pituitary adenoma which led to his incredible 360 # 6' 8" size. This guy couldn't tie his shoelaces but would pick-up refrigerators and volkswagons and stack them up like stonehenge.

Savants exist. I have an ad in the paper right now for a trading savant. When I hire the new savant my edge is gonna kick your edge's ass.

  8. I was out walking and hunting quail, once.

Came to a road named, Quail Run Lane.

It really freaked me out so I got back to my car within seconds and left that place.

  10. 18 but I am an INTP. How odd. There is this guy at work that can tell you when the last six leap years were and what famous people were born on, for instance, 01-12-66 or 05-17-58. His memory is simply unbeatable. There are some casinos in this town. I'm trying to get him over to one. He looks normal actually and his mannerisms are not that odd.
