Why industrials,-? services, technology, healthcare, and consumer goods rank highest in large cap. Consumer goods, services, technology, industrials, and basics are best in mid cap, while consumer goods, technology, basics, and industrials are top-rated in small cap. Industrial goods strength is intriguing, given risks facing economic activity; however, election year promises for an infrastructure bill (always promised, never delivered) may provide additional support to the group. Consumer goods comprises many defensive stocks, so its move up the ranking is notable, too. -- For that elusive infrastructure play VMC & NGVT are the names and to them we add one more-- NV5 Global-- (NVEE) Description NV5 Global, Inc. provides professional and technical engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, construction, real estate, and environmental markets in the United States and internationally. It's not like we are reaching except very late in the game... and I could just make this super annoying list about how far some of these names have gone... & I think my one buy would be NVEE. I do think a infrastructure bill is coming in September. Not sure how to get Democrats behind it before the election but this is a way of giving States money without giving states money. So the States are really hurting some like NY are on death's door the Subway system is losing $200 mln a month... Garbage, rats, crime... & Trump doesn't want to help his old state out overtly. Can't give any funds for anything needed but infrastructure. And then from those funds you could bleed some rat control and better transportation crossings, and lights and they are some ways to do garbage cleanup and more with the ' infrastructure ' funds I mean you can't build a bridge if it's being defended by rats nor can you eat out at a table in the street...
This came out Monday) Sidoti upgrades NV5 Global to Buy following pullback NVEE As previously reported, Sidoti analyst Marc Riddick upgraded NV5 Global to Buy from Neutral with an unchanged price target of $68. He blames profit taking and a high level of short interest due to increased post-acquisition debt as the likely reasons for the recent pullback in shares despite the company reporting "positive" Q2 earnings earlier this month, Riddick said. He thinks "trusted advisors" like NV5 will see increased assignment as spending on infrastructure grows as an active hurricane season and widespread power outages in the U.S. increase prioritization of grid stability, the analyst tells investors.
