I notice they have a little kitchen in there with a coffee maker. No friggin way would I let anyone bring drinks in that room. That's definitely top of the line stuff. Not sure about the stock though. The custom LiveX carpets are nice... is that part of the shareholder equity?
Van I probably bought SQM when you did-- wasn't it the great salt shortage for snow plowing? I seem to remember that these guys were the secrete sauce to melting ice??? Pretty sure I made a bunch of money on the way up it corrected and like you I went back in and it went down.. Yea so not good memories BUT it is down a lot I think this morning in Chile! Because of this capital raise... Perhaps an opportunity never the less//-- Weak US $ I have to figure out if it maters... The Weather is warm. But it is supposed to drop severely. We have about 15 more inches of snow to melt so i worry about the next few days... our driveway can get real icy. Slip and fall icy. The plan stands-! I am eating out tonight in an enclosed environment I don't know how they pull it off.. I'm not asking... My damn dog I'm locking him in the bedroom this time. Bacchus has eaten three leather leashes these past months. Every time we leave him he destroys something... gloves... pocket book he craves leather. Surprise his new leash is vinyl. And another surprise you aint' roaming the cabin this time... If this dog eats my comforter.... I don't want to think about it. I just want to have one nice - no freak out experience-- and that's the other problem I have a reputation at this place I've stormed out twice recently--- once just because they refused to give me a paper menu I had never seen one of those Q things before & I don't own a cellphone... So when they pointed me to a bar code I freaked out and left quickly... trailing my bread and butter and whatever else fell off the table.. And then a different time I left because they only had the pub menu and I wanted the Spa menu.. (don't ask) Pub is just fried stuff. I have to change my appearance tonight.

Hey have you looked at my Lemonade (LMND) lately? Ditto good ol' $ELY. He's at $6.30 LAZR's a mudder. His mother was a mudder. Will it rain on Corsair on the way to $50? Yeah on Corning, it's an elephant, lots of legacy costs there. 8B debt. Good one for the G4G portfolio I guess. Gotta watch interest rates on these things. Not a factor atm, but still... any hint of an increase... 2.5% divy.
VAN I GRABBED THIS FROM a Barons site before it could ad bomb me and try and get a subscription not sure the analyst... “While Corning shares have rallied, we believe that a ‘stronger for longer’ consumer trend augurs well for underlying demand drivers in Corning’s business segments exposed to consumer electronics, with further tightening in the glass supply demand environment due to outages at a major competitor,” Suva noted that the near-term supply disruptions “augur well for the display segment,” from which Corning generates about 30% of its revenue and 40% of its net income. “We also expect recovery in the auto segment to benefit growth in the environment segment group (gas particulate filters) throughout 2021,” he wrote. And while the company’s optical networks business remains lumpy, he wrote, there are signs that both telecommunications companies and public cloud providers are spending more money, suggesting a pick up in fiber optic deployments in the 2021 second half. He highlighted other positive long-term trends, including growth in auto glass demand and growth in demand for the company’s Valor glass for vaccine storage. And with significant free cash flow likely in 2021, he added, Corning is likely to resume stock buybacks.
MULTIPLE EV WINNERS: Deutsche Bank analyst Edison Yu initiated coverage of Xpeng (XPEV) with a Buy rating and $58 price target. The analyst believes his "Fab Four" thesis from September - where NIO (NIO), XPeng, Li Auto (LI) and WM Motor represented an emerging class of automakers backed by well capitalized tech titans and local governments looking to disrupt the auto industry - has been playing out. Along with Tesla (TSLA), these automakers are "increasingly destined to conquer" the Chinese auto market, Yu told investors in a research note published on December 14. The analyst expects "multiple winners" in the new electric vehicle "world order."
