Jan 15th 2019--- Mimecast trades at the exact same price it does today. There comes a time when you isolate these companies and say some are never going to make it, some are unlucky and some are finally going to get their due. MIME is in the get their due camp. ~si

Why not Azek? You are making my case!!!! Azek should be double the price. I admit they are 5 X as small... but we have that Green thing that new young customer who wants the Azek over some big polluter.... But SHW & EXP they do a lot of stuff and Azek is No 2 in decking.PURE PLAY Them and Trex. Azek underwent an initial public offering in June, opening at $23 a share, then soaring to $42. Azek’s price/earnings ratio is at 35 times 2022 forecasts, Expensive but has been higher! For the year ended on last Sept. 30, , Azek = $32.2 million in earnings, or 59 cents a share, on revenue of $882 million. For the current fiscal year, Azek should earn $81.3 million, or 84 cents a share, on revenue of $969 million. For fiscal 2020, analysts see $93 million in earnings, or 99 cents a share, on revenue of $1.07 billion. VAN FOLLOW THE REVENUE BRICK ROAD!..... Cliff Greenberg, the co-chief investment officer of Baron Capital and manager of Baron Small Cap(BSCFX), believes that composite decks eventually could account for 40% to 60% of all decks. “Azek’s end market will double or triple from here,” he says. He thinks that Azek revenues will grow about 10% a year, with margins widening to around 30%. Meanwhile the company’s free cash flow will allow it to reduce its $297 million in net debt. “This is a superhigh-quality company, with great organic growth and great margins,” says Greenberg. Azek, he adds, could earn $2 a share or more in 2025. With a multiple of 30 to 35, that’s a $70 stock—without a pandemic.
Ya know, composite decking is not a new thing stoney. Its been around for 20 years at least... just sayin'. You can't just roll an old company into a SPAC, play your connections, and have Jimbo pimp it as a green play to the Robinhooders who've never built a deck, let alone a house in their lives. Look at their books Stoney. Look at their net margins. Look at their debt. They lose money bro. Your Millenial/Genx/GenY... Cramer premium... is already priced in. We can agree to disagree as always, and I'm sure these will spike on the Cramer pump... but whatever. If you wanna be Peter Lynch.... ya gotta look at the books. Enough on that. ________________ Moving on as always... .......as insurance goes.... I like Lemonade... but better than it... I like $ROOT. Now.... you are gonna scream.... because I know you.... "who the hell wants to put this crap on their smartphone and be monitored".... I couldn't agree more... but its that exact logic why you liked ADEK. You like it because its all about the younger generations. Guess what Stoney... they have been conditioned to not question a world where everything they think and do is manifested in that phone they would go to the ends of the earth to not be without. Would I use $ROOT? F no!. Or even the ROOT-lites out there that every other insurance company offers. (How's Flo btw? ... someone needs to put her on the treadmill). _________________________ If you want an Elon Musk type vision using extruded plastic, and you wanna be a forward thinker..... like Elon.... .......find the startup company that incorporates a gantry crane with a 3D printer, and prints the basic floor-plan of a house, floor by floor. The best insulator in the world is air. External walls can be fabricated out of plasic, with a gillion air bubbles in it... and it will be better and stronger than anything we have now. We are building homes the same way we have been since WW2 for the most part. 3D printing of homes can be done. Gantry cranes can be broken down and moved. And for sub-divisions where the builder is erecting 50 structures..... money in the bank my friend. It can be done. And it will be done. Single and multi-family structures will be 3D printed, level by level w/i the next 20 years. As for your decking companies... lol... upgrade the gummy's, and picture the old school gantry's with a tad of new tech... and see the future Stoney. We'll empty the landfills and oceans of plastic in a blink. Folks will be mining and scouring for plastic just to resell to the 3D builders. -vz
