  1. I wrote a really dry email to the company explaining the problem and what the tech should look for. But hell ya you are right I should not be on the hook for a service contract for that! He was no expert... I think I felt a little sorry for him because he was so overweight and it was hotter than hell and he was wearing a mask.. just an ugly set up-- but now I'm mad; If only I had found that breaker box first-- I was looking in the basement for a small box and the box was outside next to the unit. Just like you said... Grey metal just real dark from the elements.

What a difference a day makes! It's so cold downstairs! sixty degrees. Brrrrrrr. Can't go barefoot! I was going to turn it off which what I used to do until about 4:00pm but my wife said just keep it running... I had by the end of this convinced her that the problem of not having air conditioner was universal and had nothing to do with any rank or race.-- Everyone deserves air conditioner and everyone needs it. If I was running for president that would be my ticket... the Cool Ticket-- Free air conditioners for everyone.

Folks they have tried to tell you twice now. And I have been saying this since the fake deal was struck-- There Is No China Deal, it's all lies.. and the market needs to stop going down when it is told that. They have now tried to tell you twice and each time you took a little nose dive-- enough! The market was supposed to be smart what the heck has happened THERE IS NO CHINA DEAL and there never was... this was all BS from day one as I have been saying. Wake Up.

Stock futures pared steep declines and turned positive after White House trade adviser Peter Navarro said during a Fox News interview that any trade deal with China was “over,” but then walked back the remark and clarified that the Phase 1 trade deal “continues in place” in subsequent statements to the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg News.

Global equities slid after Navarro’s earlier interview with Fox News, with Dow futures plunging more than 400 points before recovering. Stock futures had traded little changed to slightly higher earlier in the overnight session.

  2. Ok I am going back to NYC tomorrow to see how bad things are. I've seen a couple shots of Times Square and I'm really scared for the city. It still looks dead. I am going to see if my wine store is OK they had boarded up the windows and I might try and walk into a few places just to test them and see, I'll see how 5 Guys Burger is doing and I am actually going to put myself through the process of seeking medical care in this pandemic-- A crown or fake top of a molar
of mine came off when I was eating a Glutan Free Fudge Cookie... No glutan but enough chewie fudge to rip out a tooth top! I am going to the dentist. (the dentist is working two days a week)

Phase 2 they call it but I'm nervous. They say 35 people got shot last week, the cops are maybe not responding to everything fire works are a real problem I have heard from a bunch of folks it's out of control at night.

  3. Quick Thoughts)

Have you noticed CRSP stocks starting to move? Yup. The first patient is doing well with the cycle cell disease and in that as you might know there is a ugly looking blod cells in the shape of cycles that are overwhelmed with the new fresh CRSP cut gene cells... Something like that... Well there must be some way to tackle Covid the same ay don't you think? I do... Until then the technology is so interesting.

I've talked about QURE before. It has been a large disappointment for me I have held it over a year now and not made any money. I am not selling so you may be asking yourselves should you be buying. I mean I would! If I was reading this thread and and making the very profitable moves along with this trader who tells me a loser well a flat holding for a year is still a good idea... this trader with a twitchy sell finger...

If I buy a few more shares I think I have 250... if I buy 50 more it will officially be An Idea For Now.... The Investment in a nutshell-- CRSP tech in a foreign stock... You get the exposure the switch perhaps that is going on as more people seem to be hunting in the European indexes as of late and you are in the hot sector of bio and there is in my view a strong buy out probability.

Did Sanofi Free Up Cash To Acquire uniQure?

Sanofi is now cash-rich after selling its lion's share of Regeneron shares.

Sanofi has a renewed focus on immuno-oncology and rare diseases.

uniQure is an excellent acquisition target for Sanofi with potential to be first to market in gene therapy treatments for hemophilia B and Huntington disease. Check this out :

    Manufacturing capabilities

uniQure has invested heavily in becoming a leader in gene therapy manufacturing. Since uniQure was one of the early pioneers in gene therapy it has afforded them the opportunity to develop significant capabilities for commercial scale manufacturing. The company has an 80,000 ft2 commercial-scale AAV facility in Lexington, Massachusetts. The company firmly believes its manufacturing capabilities give it a competitive advantage to reduce development costs and the ability to eventually support demand for drug approvals in more prevalent indications such as Huntington disease.

An author on Seking Alpha then dropped this map-- genius!!!

Of note, Sanofi has its biological manufacturing facility in Framingham, Massachusetts, a mere 30-minute drive from uniQure's manufacturing facility. Look at that! build a wall right there aalong that line nd you have the beginnings of a new state! sanofiuniQure-!

Recently at the Goldman Sachs 41st Annual Global Healthcare Conference, CEO Matt Kapusta was asked about preparation for commercial launch of Etranacogene dezaparvovec and the potential for partnerships. Matt Kapusta stated:

"In parallel we are also exploring various options of go to market strategy. So, that would also include consideration for partners both ex US and as well as global licensing strategies. What we're focusing on is maximizing shareholder value and of course doing that through the most rapid manner that we can bring this product, which we think will be first to market and potentially best in class, to patients around the world. So, we're evaluating several different approaches to that but meanwhile we're doing everything we need to be doing to commercialize direct in the united states"

If approved, Etranacogene dezaparvovec could potentially reach over $1 billion in global peak sales. AMT-130 could fetch substantially more if approved with estimated peak sales in excess of $3 billion. Recent price targets from Chardan Capital Markets and Goldman are $105 and $98 per share, respectively.

  6. Limelight Networks, Inc." >Limelight Networks, Inc.

    Prior Close: $5.27 USD

Limelight provides digital content delivery, video, cloud security, and edge computing services. The Scottsdale, Arizona-based firm allows its customers to deliver streaming video and other digital content to “any device, anywhere.” Limelight’s offerings are geared toward industries from media and broadcasting to gaming and more. This makes it not only an attractive stay-at-home play, but also a solid longer-term bet on the future of streaming that the biggest companies in the world have bet on, from Apple to Disney.

LLNW posted stronger-than-expected Q1 earnings in late April, with revenue up 32% to help it post a new first quarter record. CEO Robert Lento said in prepared remarks that the firm was carrying momentum into Q2, “primarily driven by the increase of video-on-demand.”

current estimates call for Limelight’s Q2 revenue to jump 24%, with its FY20 sales projected to climb over 16%, crushing last year’s roughly 3% top-line expansion. Plus, Limelight is expected to soar from an adjusted loss of -$0.02 in FY19 to +$0.06 a share in FY20, while its bottom-line is projected to soar another 92% higher to $0.12 per share in FY21.

The stock trades at 2.6X forward 12-month sales, which marks a discount against its industry’s 7.3X average and its own year-long high of 3.5X.

FIRST BUY IDEA THIS MORNING IS LLNW

Lol... I remember reading about these things, but it was this company below. Its an interesting concept. Can it be applied to other things? Like counters at fast-food joints or tables at restaurants?

What about those little automatic change dispensers at the convenience store chains that spit your change into the little round thing. Talk about nasty. I just leave my change there most of the time. 200 people/hr are reaching in those things to grab a few cents.

Does your airport security check points contribute to the spreading of pandemics ?
Today we are all facing a new deadly virus that is rapidly spreading around the world.
Speedy movement of travellers by air, makes it possible for microorganisms to spread quickly to most parts of the earth.

The fact that the most infected spots in the airports are the security check point trays, should cause the management to take precautionary steps to minimize the risk of spreading microorganisms, such as virus and bacteria.

It has been confirmed in tests that the security trays are prone to being contaminated, and contributes to the spreading of virus and bacteria.

CQRTS A/S (pronounced securities) has developed a range of security trays that has an antimicrobial agent incorporated in the plastic material.

It penetrates the cell walls of the micro-organisms, making them unable to function, grow and reproduce.

The antimicrobial agent remains undiminished throughout the life of the trays, without the need for special treatment to replenish or replace it.

Independent laboratory test of the CQRT TRAY® have demonstrated that bacteria such as MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus, E.coli and Salmonella are reduced by more than 99,75 % within 24 hrs. of the microorganisms contacting the CQRT TRAY®.

The fact that cleaning routines of the security trays are insufficient in most airports, should cause some serious action from the management, to reduce the risk for passengers and employees to be exposed to virus and bacteria.

THE CQRT TRAY® comes in 4 different sizes

  10. 1:54 mark. Did you see? This is a company in keeping with the times and they did at the very end it seems someone may of said something-- they did to their credit quickly show not one but two African American employees or actors. You may have to play it back.
