    Boris Jordan, chairman of Curaleaf
Curaleaf is not in the craft, sun-grown, hand-trimmed, high-end flower business targeting legacy cannabis consumers. Rather, the company is focused on the highly formulated products sector, targeting people who partook in college and want to get back into it, senior consumers looking for something to ail their pain, and Millennial newbies.---

This is why I should remove myself from Pot oriented stocks. I let my prejudices enter the investment world never good. Everything this company doesn't do is what I like....

    sun-grown, hand-trimmed, high-end flower ...

    • Related: Last week, a Dow Jones report suggested that Salesforce has held talks to potentially acquire workplace collaboration platform Slack.
    • In a new Credit Suisse note, analyst Brad Zelnick (Outperform rating, $245 price target) assumes a $25B takeover valuation for the potential Slack deal, noting it would become "one of the largest deals in software history."
    • Zelnick, on why Salesforce might consider the deal: "Ultimately, we believe the rationale comes down to user engagement, network effects, and data... We believe the rewards are in the form of network effects (think broader adoption, higher renewal rates, and customer lifetime value) and ultimately the most comprehensive data for driving intelligent competitive advantage."

The highest growth continues to be in our streaming products, as gamers want to share video content with their friends and fans. In our Components and Systems segment, we are also seeing continued enthusiasm to build new high end gaming PCs based on recently introduced high performance CPUs and GPUs," says CEO Andy Paul.
    • The company will report Q4 and full-year results in February for the period ending on December 31.
