    I read through all the news today and it was quite boring. There was little stock specific news. And I realized it's always on these type of days when you cannot find a thing to buy that the Christmas Rally starts!

    Blackstone drops out of bidding for XPO European unit, Bloomberg reports 12:02 XPO, BX The sale of XPO Logistics' (XPO) European supply chain unit has slowed with Blackstone Group (BX) dropping out as a potential suitor following disagreements over price, Bloomberg reports, citing people with knowledge of the matter. XPO has been seeking as much as $4.5B for the contract logistics business, sources told Bloomberg. The company, which is also considering keeping the unit or doing a separate listing of the business, is still gauging interest from other potential buyers and plans to ask for another round of bids in early December, a source told Bloomberg.
