Lumber futures have jumped 12.5% in the last 5 days.
    The economy is moving.
Your portfolio needs a home-builder in it.
$DHI up here at $57-$58 is probably a good one.
Talk about a "V" shaped recovery. Look at that chart.

  3. PORTFOLIO UPDATE****SELLING SANOFI SNY AT $52 SOMETHING-! $8 PER share gain...

  4. I have to say Not only do I give you all the idea, a 18% daytrade, and I predicted the new price targets-- exactly to the number and even played the CC rally perfectly. This has been one of my very best trades and YOU KNOW WHAT!! I did not know of this company until I discovered it just surfing news stories about general gaming stuff... I found it here live with you all And that's why I personally use Elite Trader-- it's to PUSH my self to get Up off my ass and buy something! This is how I get myself going I add the pressure of possibly looking like a fool. Then
I do the research and then Don't hold back!! I used to follow every proposed trade for two weeks, 14 days of plotting graphs on Real graph paper that was the old days...

    Now we have computers!

Gan Limited price target raised to $28 from $25 at Craig-Hallum 09:20 GAN Craig-Hallum analyst Ryan Sigdahl raised the firm's price target on Gan Limited to $28 from $25 after the company's "strong" results in its first quarter as a U.S.-listed company "didn't disappoint." Real-money internet gambling SaaS revenue grew 108% year-over-year, a new "tier 1" operator customer award was announced, and online gambling trends are accelerating, Sigdahl noted. The analyst, who also sees scarcity value for pure-plays on the online gaming investment theme, keeps a Buy rating on Gan shares.

  5. TJX is $2 off it's high. I'm torn. I'm thinking about fried chicken in China. Popey'es isn't that fried chicken--

Popeyes' China debut most successful new entry in company history, Forbes says 05/21 QSR Restaurant Brands' Popeyes officially made its debut in China on May 15, and turnout was more successful that some would expect considering the global COVID-19 pandemic, Forbes' Alicia Kelso reports. As evidence by social media posts, demand for the brand in the Asian country is high, Kelso says, noting that that Restaurant Brands management has made it clear they want to duplicate the brand's success internationally. Though the company won't disclose specific sales figures, Popeyes reported its most successful week for a new market entry in the fast food company's history, the author notes.

Restaurant Brands, upgraded to Buy at Stifel 05/14 YUM, QSR Stifel analyst Chris O'Cull upgraded Restaurant Brands (QSR) to Buy as part of a broader research note on Restaurants, stating the rating changes reflect his "increased appetite" in fast food names offering a durable business model and improving consolidated operating performance potential. The analyst is citing his survey of "heavy sit-down restaurant users", with about 67% expressing concerns about returning to a sit-down restaurant because of the lack of social distancing and cleanliness. O'Cull believes that Restaurant Brands and Yum! Brands stand to benefit as all of their brands rely heavily on either drive-thrus or delivery service.

  6. Alright 3 ideas I'm toying with:

    A) TJX B) QSR C) CARR

Carrier Global initiated with a Buy at Argus 07:11 CARR Argus analyst John Ease initiated coverage of Carrier Global with a Buy rating and $28 price target. While Ease says the COVID-19 pandemic will make its long-term financial goals tough to reach in 2020, management has lowered guidance only modestly, while many other companies have withdrawn their guidance altogether. The analyst thinks that valuations are attractive as he expects EPS to improve next year.

    Random Thought)
Augmented Reality... Apple...5G it has to be augmented reality because there is nothing else new with 5G to lure folks... and I'm not even sure AR is enough.

    QDEL-> Testing, testing, testing.

  7. Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) is very well-positioned to capitalize on the mainstreaming of augmented reality.

It’s gone relatively unrealized (or at least unappreciated), but AR requires the delivery of massive amounts of data, and it requires plenty of computing power to deliver that information in real-time.

AR glasses and goggles also burn through batteries relatively quickly.

Qualcomm as addressing all three needs, announcing in 2018 that it would be developing a chipset specifically for AR and VR applications. This turn-key solution will make it easier for other developers to bring new glasses to the marketplace.

  8. Wow.-a long point of contention for investors who dislike Qualcomm’s stock. If we exclude dividends (the stock has a current dividend yield of 2.90%), the shares are only slightly higher than they were at the end of 1999:

You could of held QCOM for over twenty years and have gotten nowhere!!! OMG

Coiled Spring Of All Time? One new contract extension with Apple and slingshot time... or
Biggest tech dud ever. Apple moves on develops their own chip or puts off the 5G a year devastating suppliers.

Do we even care about augmented reality. Do we even care? It may really be about Robot Arms
Little robot arms that do what we say and work next to workers occupying that dead space from Covid spacing restrictions...
that's what this really smart lady said... She ran a fund very well I read a great interview she liked what was it.... TER... Apparently they do robot arms?

Ahh... good ol QSR. I've watched that one for years Stoney. https://elitetrader.com/et/threads/qsr.313839/#post-4529405
Buying Popeyes was the best move they ever made.
I keep an eye on it. Down here at $55... I think its a good one for ya.

Popeyes are doing REAL well during Covid. At least the ones I drive by are. They had a little fun battle with Chik-fil-A over whose chicken sandwich was best. Great marketing ploy.

Here's the deal though. And I probably went on about this in that thread... Tim Hortons in the U.S.... they don't do too well. I mean they have an ok breakfast following, decent coffee tbh... but those things are pretty much ghost-towns during the day. They kick ass up in Canada though.

Earnings are at the end of July. You might pull 10% out of them if you get in here at $55. I'd sell before earnings though. Those Tim Hortons... I don't know how they even stay open.
