  2. The fools on LLNW)

    Limelight Networks

Limelight Networks(NASDAQ:LLNW)runs a global content delivery network (CDN). The company's storage and data management equipment can be found in central network hubs everywhere. When you need to download or stream some content from one of Limelight's clients, your computer or phone will probably grab a copy from the closest CDN hub rather than going all the way to the original source.

It should come as no surprise when I say that CDN services are in high demand these days. The coronavirus work-from-home and safer-at-home orders led to dramatically higher usage of streaming video services and other digital media platforms. These are Limelight's favorite customers, and the company plays a large part every time another streaming service hits the market.

The stock trades at just $5.40 per share right now, and that's after gaining 76% in 52 weeks. Limelight ended a race-to-the-bottom price war with larger rival Akamai Technology(NASDAQ:AKAM)a few years ago and refocused on selling value-added services at higher prices. I see great things ahead for this company and its bargain-priced stock.

  4. SLACK-- VAN YOU WERE IN GOOD COMPANY- KY Teachers take bath in SLACK

The pension also initiated a position of 193,680 Slack shares in the second quarter. It hadn’t owned any shares of the messaging-platform provider at theend of the first quarter.

    And down she went!

Kentucky’s teachers’ pension reduced positions in Apple, Microsoft, and Intel stock in the second quarter. It also initiated a position in Slack stock.
The latest fiscal year for Kentucky’s teachers’ pension was relatively successful.

Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Kentucky said last month that its investments posted a5.8% gross gainfor the fiscal year ended June 30, placing it “among the top 5% of large pension plans.” In the second calendar quarter, the last of its fiscal year, the pension made some big changes in its stock investments, lowering stakes inApple(ticker: AAPL),Microsoft(MSFT), andIntel(INTC), and initiating a position inSlack Technologies(WORK).

The pension, which manages $22 billion in assets, said selling Apple, Microsoft, and Intel stock during the second quarter “was just the normal process of TRS rebalancing its portfolio.”

Looks like they had the sells right-- wonder about that SLACK?

Price targets lowered everywhere! 5 different houses lowered!!!Competition from MSFT !!!!
Whole ' public ' cloud sector slowing!

-Public-cloud slowing down, Microsoft competition increasing, says DA Davidson 09:57 MSFT, WORK Citing data comprising more than 6M developer comments and 17M code support queries, DA Davidson analyst Ben Wilson says that while Microsoft (MSFT) has won the approval of shareholders by winning the hearts and minds of developers, signs of a public-cloud slowdown and multiple competitive threats have emerged. Additionally, the analyst says Slack (WORK) is downshifting as Teams support grows. Slack's first-mover advantage is threatened by an inflection in Microsoft Teams developer support, he contends.

This company has been abused I wonder if now it's a buy?

    WORK $25.73

Van it's the polar opposite of momentum investing but I wonder with all the bad news out... what do you think

GME reminds me of Radio Shack. They went private too in the end as I recall.

Either way, if this stuff Fauci is saying is true... all these high flying stocks are gonna tank. As junior partner in GBA, I think we need to put VMC back on the list. With or without Covid we will get infrastructure spending, especially if our GDP contracts some more. It certainly won't explode upwards, but times are changing in the markets here stoney. GBA needs to be in rock solid (pun?) stocks or cash if avoiding short plays is in the charter.

The one exception of course is bio-tech if we can find the company that gives us instant Covid tests for cheap. I could see (in the spirit of your restaurant thesis) all these companies like MCD, CMG, and every other one you mentioned this week.... all buying millions and millions of test kits and testing employees daily before their shifts. Someone will figure it out. Like a pregnancy test. There's gotta be a way.

Hey that GWPH chart is looking horrible too btw. Just looked at it. Short short short. :D

  9. Report says U.S. may need 193M coronavirus tests per month, STAT reports

FLGT- Fulgent I do not know this company I dislike them because their symbol if very close to one I own and they have actually been doing a better job and getting contracts.-!

FLDM-- That's my guy-- more of a big test story like the whole Army every day! Similar to HOLX --in a lab stuff not personal, on site like at home and at work...

OSUR-- is the play on that for me.... Spit test.

and of course ABT the guys that stole the thunder a ways back. We Nee A Whole Lot Of Testing Van...

especially when we stop holding back testing-!

Well GBA closed before earnings on that one, plus we don't have homeboy Mitch to come bail us out with more federal dollars.

It held its ground at $25.... I dunno, I think its gonna drop some more tbh. Its on the shopping list for the next big correction. As is Chewy. $18.50 and $47.50 respectively. I'm cheap.
