    I'm in for 200 shares at 58.75.
    For fun.
I can't believe how low the open interest on the options is on this one. That's the only reason I jumped this early.

No way everyone is not going to want to own this, albeit it follows my advice yesterday about the obvious trade before earnings. I'll probably get stopped out, though I didn't set one yet.

    Re "search"... :banghead:

AMC gains as major market theaters prepare to reopen
    Sep. 11, 2020 8:40 AM ET|About: AMC Entertainment Holdings,... (AMC)|

Boy Do We Need A Star Wars!) ) ) The question of the movies and their future it's riding on us right now. Listen I've hated going to the movies since the bed bug problem. If you don't know about that don't ask. Reclining chair fans. But yea it's American and we have to save our theaters NOW! I mean it someone has to make a movie worth going to the movies-- taking that risk--

Some things will be better. How many times have you had a nice center seat and some annoying person sits right next to you when there are options! And you are stuck! because the overwhelming urge is to jump up and take a open seat to make a point but then that dude won! he's in the center and you are off to the side.

I've had two or three transformational moments at the movies.

    1) Apocalypse Now. It's old. Saw that at the great Ziegfeld in NYC that had a super bumping sound system. The sound in Apocalypse is off the charts (Walter Murch-- college friend of my Mom) I saw that movie sitting next to a Vet with a shaved head-- total Military dude well he almost went into shock. They were preying his fingers off the chair at the end. That scene with the water skiing and the Stones followed by the attack by the helicopters with the Wagner Flight of the Valkyriesp film has never been so good.

    2) Rocky 1. saw Rocky on 86th st big Art Deco theater I think it's gone now-- Folks were standing in their seats like an actual boxing match and screaming at the screen it was nuts!

    3) American Beauty. Weird one but after a long stretch of hating movies I was totally in the moment with this film. It took me to a place of weirdness and had fun there.

AMC Entertainment (NYSE:AMC) is resuming operations in multiple major markets with 35 theaters reopening this week in New Jersey, Maryland, and Orange County, California.

Three locations will open today in Orange County and a fourth tomorrow, marking the first AMCs to reopen in the greater Los Angeles area since March.

As of tomorrow, nearly 80% of AMC's U.S. circuit will have reopened, up from the 70% last weekend.

Earlier this week, AMC shares jumped after the company revealed U.S. attendance had exceeded 1M in less than three weeks of opening.

AMC shares are up 3.2% pre-market to $6.13.

There is a food stock that has always caught my attention for some reason-- Cracker Barrel--
I don't think I've ever been to one. The stock has always caught my eye though. Usually has a big Div or a special Div.

Cracker Barrel price target raised to $135 from $110 at MKM Partners 08:49 CBRL MKM Partners analyst Brett Levy raised the firm's price target on Cracker Barrel to $135 from $110 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares ahead of its Q4 results next week. Full-service dining has "continued to generate incremental improvements in recent months", the analyst tells investors in a research note, though the divergences and challenges between the "haves" and "have nots" in the sector still remain. Levy adds that additional Cracker Barrel share gains would require greater evidence of ongoing sales and profit recovery, along with a sustained unit expansion and normalized capital usage.

A 20% drop today will put it around $49.
It could happen. Shake out the weak hands... I'm gonna buy some, just not sure where yet.

Too much overhead for 50% capacity mandates. Been to them a million times. Love em actually, but they're too nice. too expensive to operate without full capacity. Although... and this might be worth looking into, I wonder how their carry-out has fared. Probably pretty well.

They are all on the various interstates stoney. Great "family road-trip" dining experience. So in that regard, with more people driving vs flying.... hmmmm. There's something to be said about that.

Ahhh... Put it on the vaccine re-open list for now. Too much overhead.
