There you go again, not reading my posts lol.... As I said... my dear president and ceo of GBA... if it closes at $8 on expiration, the cat loses $1,150,000. If it flops below $7 he makes $360K.
Moving on here.... we have this one Stoney. $OBLN Everyone is getting fat so it could be a back-door "stay at home" play. Joking, but still. Morgan Stanley filed a 13G, they bought 5%. It used to be $130 stock. Look where its at now. Need to dig some more on this one. ______________________________ Obalon Therapeutics, Inc. is a commercial-stage medical device company focused on developing and commercializing medical devices to treat obese and overweight people by facilitating weight loss. See how much these things cost.
a swallowable, gas-filled intragastric balloon! Does that sound like a fun way to lose weight? Why not swallow a car air bag? Folks I want to make sure we are taking care of all Investing types and so I have been thinking about a tech stock that just gets no love. Honestly I think SIMO might be one of the real values and I don't know why folks have not appreciated it. SIMO-Silicon Motion valuation 'unusually compelling,' said B. Riley FBR on 08/21 SIMO B. Riley FBR analyst Craig Ellis reiterates a Buy rating on Silicon Motion with a $54 price target after hosting a call with management. The analyst has "increased comfort" with the company's 2020 and 2021 fundamentals and believes current valuation levels "create an unusually attractive entry point" into late 2020 catalysts.<-- Silicon Motion sees Q3 revenue $114M-$120M, consensus $137.83M 07/29 SIMO Sees Q3 gross margin 48%-50% and operating margin 20%-22%. CEO Wallace Kou says: "We expect our third quarter sales to be temporarily affected by a one-quarter mobile-related inventory adjustment before growth rebounds in the fourth quarter. All three of our key products continue to track towards solid full-year sales growth, and our order book for SSD controllers for PC OEMs remains very strong in the second half of 2020. Also, our expanding portfolio of industry-leading PCI NVMe SSD and UFS controllers, as well as Shannon open-channel SSDs is pointing to solid growth momentum next year." It seems we have one of those back end stories here EPS wise... Silicon Motion: 3.7% yield The storage controller payouts have doubled in four years. This company spent 57% of its trailing free cash flows on dividend checks, leaving plenty of wiggle room for future payout boosts. <I wonder if that could be viewed negative by the street as they do not reinvest in the business?> Silicon Motion's yield stands at 3.7% today. Low share prices played an important part in these generous yields because the stock has fallen 25% in 2020. <Now that seems overdone especially when you consider that management feels things get back on track Q$> We're talking about a leading provider of controller processors for storage systems based on NAND flash memory chips, and that's a difficult place to do business this year. Consumer demand is weak for devices with lots of NAND memory, such as smartphones and tablet computers. NAND-based enterprise storage devices are heading into the mainstream, softening the blow to some degree, but many investors still worry about permanent damage to Silicon Motion's most important target market. Consumer demand is weak for smartphones? Someone tell Apple? All kids learn virtually and no uptick in tablets. Are tablets dead? What is wrong with NAND? So the stock is trading at just 12 times forward earnings estimates, pushing the effective dividend yield 50% higher year to date. I think that the concerns about Silicon Motion's long-term prospects are overblown and the stock is a great buy at these low prices, as it includes a generous and fully cash-backed dividend policy.<- That's from Motley Fool. SIMO is always at $38! From March 10th till Sept 1st this stock has been $38 bucks.! That's alot of time. You would think that sellers are wringed out over that process and now just dividend players are in it. Over 5 years the stock topped out at $50. OK Back to our show and WRAP twch is taking off VAN!! Do We Do It? WRTC--$9.20 up 5%
Hmmmmmm.... well, maybe it won't... today. I'm down a good bit, at the moment. But the day is not yet over, as Worf would say.
VAN- This was over amonth ago-- Wrap Technologies price target raised to $14 from $9.75 at Ladenburg 07/31 WRTC Ladenburg Thalmann analyst Jon Hickman raised the firm's price target on Wrap Technologies to $14 from $9.75 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares following the company's Q2 results. The analyst says that with the company's BolaWrap 100 positioning in the non-lethal weapon market as a novel, remote restraint device that does not rely on pain to control a non-complaint subject, he anticipates a revenue ramp similar to that of the Taser device in the early 2000s. Due to its ease of use and lack of potential injury with its use, the analyst expects rapid adoption of the device and frequent use by officers as there is "little-to-no downside of deploying the BolaWrap before utilizing other more potentially injurious measures." I wonder if a BIG contract could be coming? Do a Volume scan! MAC D Something!#WRTC
