Just to be sure, I just did a database search on the Collective2 site for the phrase "investment adviser" and could not find it used by any system developer in the context you suggest. (A couple specified that they were not that.) It's possible I've missed what you saw. If this is the case, there is a "Flag this description" feature available if you happen to notice any system description that seems unsavory. In addition, we pay an actual human being to review system descriptions, too. Totally agreed. Its easier to make money off 500 people than the whole market. And its profitably low cap, cash cow. Contributes probably 1-2% of Revenue to the overall Equity PnL for a Bank.
